I had my wedding here at the Gheens Foundation lodge and it was beautiful. This park all year round is an amazing place to explore and there is no shortage of activities to capture your attention at all times. My favorite part is the creek that my boys and my dogs love to spend our summers. Swimming in the water. One of the cleaner water ways in the area. This is a must visit for people new to Kentucky and this already here
Toilets: There are a good amount of restrooms though out the park.
Dog-friendliness: I bring my dogs here to swim all summer almost.

Great park for Louisville. Great place to walk, ride bikes, and let kids play. There is a wide range of animals to see. picnic pavilions are nice. Really a great place to go for any out door activity. It is pet friendly and hosts many community events.
