Have been a loyal customer for many years for the service of my 2015 VW Jetta. Last time I went to get service, I explicitly stated I did not need an oil change but did require other services. I was quoted when they called for those services plus an oil change. I told them again I did not need an oil change. I went to pick up the vehicle after they said it was ready, paid for it, and looked on my receipt when I got home I was charged for an oil change.
My most recent trip for service the other day, one of the items that I paid to have fixed, my bluetooth connectivity, I was told was fixed, I was told it was a programming problem, when I got home my bluetooth still does not work.
Granted I should have checked my receipt before I left for the oil change, and should have checked the bluetooth problem before I left.... but also, service folks should listen when their customer tells them twice they don't need a particular service... also, service folks should fix the things they said they fixed and not waste someone's time and money for something that was not fixed and the time, gas, and money I now have to take to go back to make sure it is fixed the right way.

I have never met a salesperson with more honesty and integrity than Carter Hancock. We purchased a Subaru Impreza a few years back and returned when it was time for my 16 year-old to get her first car. We ended up purchasing one car for my daughter and one for me! I would not go anywhere else to buy a vehicle. You will never have to worry about buyer's remorse if you work with Carter Hancock! Bachman Auto Group is lucky to have someone who represents them in such a positive light!

EDIT Aug 17, 2024: While Les was everything stated below, working with the title office has been a nightmare. I bought this car FOUR MONTHS AGO, and the title office cannot get my car registered in my state of record. They do not return my phone calls; their hours are bizarre so when I show up in person, they aren't there; I've received two letters from my state of record that the car was registered incorrectly and I've had to go back to the dealership in person to extend my temporary plates. No one at Bachman has communicated that this issue matters to them or that fixing it is a priority. I'm coming up on having to renew my temporary tags again in three weeks and I am beyond frustrated.
Les was so helpful! He set my husband and I up with a manual Jetta and was informative and transparent throughout the process. We appreciated his candor and his effort to get us the exact car we wanted in color, package, and transmission. Les never tried to push more car or more package than we were looking for. Thanks Les!

I’m a military member with a permanent residence out of state and this dealership can’t figure out how to register my car. I bought a Jetta in April, I’ve had to renew my temp plates once and will have to a second time in September.

We brought my Tiguan in on June 26th for routine maintenance and to assess an AC issue/noise. I was contacted at 730am to confirm the package cost. By 5p, I had heard nothing else and had a very difficult time speaking directly with the service department - no answer via text or call to the number I’d been conversing with, and several transfers ended the call when trying to reach the service department through the hard line. I was finally informed that my service had not been completed. This is not the first time service completion was delayed for a scheduled drop off appt. After expressing my frustration I was offered a loaner, which is fine and helpful, but meant securing childcare and a ride back to the service dept. The next day they were unable to identify the noise in the AC. I was assured the car had been driven as part of the diagnostic. I was not able to replicate the noise in the parking lot. We paid the $175 diagnostic fee and picked up the car. As soon as I began driving the car, the noise came back. I sent a video via text as instructed on 6/28. On 7/11 I received a response, apologizing for the delay due to bereavement. Next available appt was 8/2. On 8/2 I was told at 9:30am they could not replicate the noise. I sent addt videos. By noon I was informed they were “finally able to hear it after multiple test drives”. I was informed of the cost and requested the diagnostic fee be returned or subtracted from that cost due to the runaround and overall inconvenience of service experience.
Manager offered no apologies or discounts. We decided to pick the car up without completing the work. We have been long time VW costumers, purchased 2 vehicles from this location and primarily used this service dept. Unfortunately we do not feel valued as return costumers and will not be returning. Please apologize to Les in the sales dept as he’ll be missing out on an upgraded SUV purchase as I’m currently pregnant and in the market. Very disappointed for the poor communication and costumer service.

Customer service is lacking! They're communication skills needs improvement. My daughter has had issues with her Brand New car since she drove it off the lot. Needless to say, I won't shop at an establishment that doesn't stand behind the deal they made.
