Absolute scam of a car rental location. Took vehicle back, asked if he wanted to do a walk around with me. Manager declined to look at the car with me; then calls me 20 mins later claiming pet hair and there would be a cleaning fee, said he was too allergic and couldn’t clean it. Threatened a 400 dollar fee.Drove back and he could not show me the hair but said it needed to be cleaned better. Ultimately didn’t charge me but had to deal with the guy for over an hour.Would not suggest anyone to rent here, absolute thief running the place.

Roman who is running the branch is Top notch....the Hertz place near by is nothing compared to his service...totally recommend

Booked a rental for vacation here, I get discounts through the Union, 4 days prior to our pickup date they told us it had to be paid with credit card and they’re would be an extra hold charge but they did not tell us when we booked it, so we had to scramble just to figure out how to get it paid.

I ordered a compact car and all they had was trucks. This place is super understaffed. The poor worker was one of the only staff working. I was very upset about having to pay more in gas for the car when I ordered a compact car a month ago.

Complete garbage. I had a confirmation number for a car rental in July 2023 and when I showed up, they said they have no cars and told me to go home. I had to pay double the price for a Lyft to get me to my destination. Avoid this location!

Always read Google review. You would expect the owner does. I got the charged for fuel and Charlie Allen is conveniently NEVER around OR returns calls. If he doesn't resolve my issue tomorrow, May 11th, I will take you to court and sue you for $76, my credit card fees and statuary fees due from April 2023 when I first brought it to your attention. I rent cars monthly for work, NEVER AGAIN ! I will go to the airport.

I rent cars very regularly. This place refused to accept my drivers license and said that I needed a second form of ID. That’s never happened to me before. On top of that, I had already let my ride go because the person said I was all set.

Returned my rental on 10/16/22. The individual, who would not provide his name, greeted me and took my keys to check my car in. Upon looking at the car, he told me there was going to be a $450 cleaning fee for “Lots of Pet Hair” on the floorboards in the car. I told him there was never a pet in the car and there isn’t any pet hair in the car. He insisted there was and said an animal was in the vehicle but there was only hair on the floorboards. After going back and forth he then changed his toon that there were a few pieces but since he is allergic, they have to charge the $450 fee to have someone else detail it, since he can’t do it himself. I asked to see what he was speaking about even though I told him I already took photos before I walked in, which is when he changed his toon. Telling me that it actually was okay, and they will get it when vacuuming and a full detail isn’t needed. I did have him take me back to the car and he couldn’t really point it out specifically where the “lots of pet hair was.” Shady business practice if you asked me. Have yet to see if I will get charged this $450 cleaning fee but very much believe this is a scheme this location runs to bring in more revenue.

if I could give a negative star I would. But since you have to give a star to get into the review, I gave 1. First it wasnt the style car re reserved, which was a midsized sadan, it was the smallest SUV I have ever been in. Car was not cleaned/detailed as I expect from a rental. Especially with covid. Wipers were months past due and didn't clean windows at all during rain... dangerous! we had been to Michigan around the lakes so some sand on floor mats. But since car was not detailed I didn't think it was our job to do so. I also think a $450 charge is a bit much!!! When we our expressed our frustration with this situation he threatened to put us on the "do not rent"... as if we would ever come back!!!

Horrible Customer Service - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY at 9040 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, Ky 1) Expected a sedan model, got a mini SUV.(Tiny) 2) Was dirty inside & out when we picked it up. 3) Windshield wiper blades worn out - Dangerous in the storms we drove through. 4) Upon the rental return there were minimal bits of sand in floorboards, Charlie threatened $450 "cleaning" fee when I disputed his accusation that we returned car dirty. This Charlie person has horrible customer service and will rip off his customers at any opportunity. I will Never USE this location or company again! Please Beware.

The old man( Charlie) on the counter was so rude! We had a reservation for Mazda CX-5 but he want us to take the small SVU for same price and wanted me to pay extra $10 per day for what I had reserved! Gush!

The man on the counter (Charlie) was so pathetic. He gave me the car that I didn’t reserve. I had to wait more than an hour to get the right car I reserved. Horrible customer service experience with this location. I did not like anything at all. Shortage of staff.

This place deserves zero stars. We rented a minivan for the weekend. Charged 450 extra upon return for detailing. I called and asked why and they said there was sand and pet hair. We have no pets nor did we go anywhere near sand. The kids did leave cracker crumbs on the carpet and I assumed they'd get that with vacuuming. When I called an hour after dropping it off I talked to Joe who said he was the manager but wouldn't give me his full name. This was less than an hour after I dropped it off and they said it was too late, already done after I offered to come do it myself. Interesting they can do a full detail in 1 hour when there were four cars in line in front of me. Joe was a complete a****** and told me there was nothing I could do. He was cocky and just plain mean. This is a rip off and a scam. Last time I will ever rent here.

I was told to call before I came to get the van I rented and after suffering through the absolute horror show that is the Avis automated system I get put through to the customer service dude who tells me everything is good to go. Now I had to call 3 different times and every time the stupid automated system is trash and I am assured my vehicle is there. When I arrive I am told that they do not have a van and do not know when one will arrive. The customer service is trash. I will never ever use Avis or Budget car rentals again. I now have to try to find a vehicle for a vacation last minute.

Go anywhere else. Charlie the manager has no people skills. I was upset at a late charge and when I wanted the Manager, Charlie, to help me and he said he couldn't. I took my paperwork and walked to the door. He then started cussing at me and dropping the f bomb. I replied " you don't have to cuss, I never cussed" he replied "here's 10 more" and said "F.. you" more as he walked around the counter. The 2 in the back came out to calm him down. I called the police and of course they backed their short tempered manager claiming I started the cussing. That is not my style... Don't use them and Charlie shouldn't be a manager! Avis- Read the complaints!
