Disappointed because I told the salesman that I did not want to wait a month for my furniture and the delivery date is over a month I was lied to he told me delivery would be 10 to 14 days,and I’m having surgery this month

Bought a lifting coffee table and paid $540 for a 5-year protection plan. The spring mechanism on the lift suddenly detaches from the wood so I call to make a claim and “only cosmetic issues are covered”
Update: I did contact the number in the attached reply. They told me that that was correct that the policy only covered cosmetic issues but here’s a website where I can order replacement parts for my table. So apparently they’re aware they break and are using it as a way to make more money.
