“I walked in and was greeted. I told them what I was looking for and they had a wide variety to choose from. I picked out a fridge. It looks great and was cold. They also deliver and remove old one for a reasonable fee.”
“In April, 2025, my husband and I were in the market for a new GE refrigerator and GE stove. We had planned to go to a few appliance stores. We were at my sister’s house in the Highlands, so decided to go to Bonnycastle Appliance & TV first. Neither of us had ever been there. We were greeted by Dan Kaplan. His knowledge of each fridge and stove we were shown was impeccable. On top of that, he was very nice and patient. Our appliances were ordered at the end of May to take advantage of the Memorial Day sale. We decided to also order a new GE microwave. Our appliances were delivered and installed by Lee with Empire Installation. A bin in our fridge was cracked and our microwave had a dent in the door. I called Dan the next day and he ordered the new bin and microwave door. They were delivered to our home within four or five days. We replaced the bin ourselves and an installer came out and replaced the microwave door. My husband and I highly recommend Dan Kaplan at Bonnycastle Appliance & TV! Thanks Dan & Bonnycastle management.”

“CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALIVE AND WELL...I took my Brother Sewing machine in (1-30-24) because it was jamming on the underside of the fabric, constant E6 error. I wasn't sure if it was something I was doing wrong or the machine needed repair. Well sure enough the fabulous LINDA showed how to do things right, she even showed me how to use that auto thread feature I have never figured out how to use. This will be a lifesaver for my tired eyes. Linda...I can't thank you enough, you made my day.”

Many spaces to work on electronics projects, 3D printing, laser cutting & engraving, wood working, metal working, and more. Cost to use the equipment & cost hit supplies is minimal. There are several meeting forces as well. Near the UofL campus with plenty of free parking. Staff are very friendly & helpful. Some equipment will require certification/verification of your skills before use. Be sure to sign up to take the 30-minute orientation to get acquainted with this awesome opportunity.”

“When I was checking out, I realized I grabbed the wrong product. Emma was checking me out at the time. Instead of pointing me in the correct direction and wander around looking for help, Emma walked me to the area, helped me find the sales associate for that section, and also helped me look for the correct product. This was one of the best interactions I have had at a store. The store was extremely busy but Emma taking the time to help created a great/memorable customer interaction! Emma is a Rockstar employee!!”
“It seems like they have cut down on employees working the floor to help customers. That or they have assigned them other duties to do on top of their old duties. But at least you can always find someone to help you, eventually. Store seems to always be clean and pretty well stocked. I will shop there in the future. Plenty of parking too.”

“Father's Day and an exhaust fan return brought us to this Home Depot, a location I haven't visited. Like other spots they had a huge parking lot. We were greeted quickly and our return took only a couple of minutes. My husband wanted a trimmer for his Father's Day gift. He'd done his research and one was in the cart after another five minutes. While waiting for him I was impressed with their line of grills and smokers. We browsed their paint colors for awhile. They had many options and the cards were nicely organized for shoppers. We grabbed a few options to take home to view under our lights. Checkout was quick and easy. Gift cards were available near checkout, and for options beyond Home Depot.”

“Menards store chain is brand new to the Louisville area, and it is a welcome addition to having Lowe's and Home Depot. I like that it is a different layout and concept than the other two. When you enter the single entrance to the store there is the combined customer return & service desk with only 1-2 employees. Also, there off to the side is a tool rental area where I assume the customer service desk people help you. To enter the store from here, you go tru a turnstile. Also, as you enter, there is a self-help area where you can pick up Menards' current sales ad and a printout of the stores layout to help you find things. All the employees I felt with were helpful and friendly. They have a little bit of everything. I recommend stopping by as soon as you get a chance , just make sure to allow plenty of time to browse, you might even want to pack a lunch or at least a snack...did I mention the have a small grocery section ? !”
“Our dryer went out. We are a family of 4 with 4 dogs. We needed a new set and a new console for the living room. We have a very limited budget and Cre at Aaron’s came through and was so nice. I have noticed the unites I bought are on sale everywhere and I wish we would gotten a better price. I suppose that’s the name of the game. Thank you Aaron’s !!”

“Contacted Home Depot (hurstbourne) through the app to purchase a storm door and have it installed. Communication was perfect. They scheduled the measurement. Soon after called me to confirm the door and handle I wanted. After payment, I was contacted a couple days later to do the install. Perfect from start to finish.
Installed a Anderson 3000 full view storm door. Installed by a Home Depot contractor.”
“Really appreciate store manager Christopher Nalley getting me a refund on an incomplete online order. I was credited $74 immediately to my debit card (for the delivery fee plus an apology credit towards future use in the store.) Then he immediately sent out the missing part of my order to me and waived the delivery charge. I didn't think customer service like this exists anymore.”

“I had a HORRIBLE experience with the past general manager of this store but the new one, Daniel, is fantastic. EVERYBODY I've dealt with has been great. I bought a 55 inch TV and had 1 payment left and the TV went out... completely stopped working. So I was given a smaller "loaner" TV. 4 or 5 months went by and I had already paid off the TV but the general manager at the time couldn't tell me when it would be replaced. I don't even think Daniel was there a month and he replaced my TV. Daniel and Mark and everyone that I've had to speak to have been incredible. I've been a customer of Aaron's since 1999 and this is the first time I've ever had anything break or stop working. Love this store. Seriously, if you're going to lease from Aaron's, deal with this store!”
