I would give 5 stars if it were cleaner. My nails turned out great and the experience was good.
Cleanliness: Not very clean. The glass at the nail station had visible mystery gunk around the rims that you put your arms through to have your nails done. It looked like it hadn't been wiped at all in quite a while.

I tipped 20% however I’m not happy. The color is grey when I wanted black. There is no color palette for regular polish. She didn’t trim my nails. She also didn’t push back or oil my cuticles the shape is also not what I wanted. I hope another salon can fix it.

I went to American Nails for a Hot Stone Spa Pedicure with my boyfriend! This nail spa is so pretty inside. I their massage chairs are very comfortable and the tubs remind me of the inside of a beautiful shell--very unique! This salon is extremely clean and tidy. They used new products during our pedicure and even lined the tub to make sure there is no cross contamination from other customers. Further, there was a splash guard between myself and my technician. I appreciate that the salon takes steps to protect their workers and customers this way. The smell inside the salon is divine! There is no strong nail polish smell --even when I my toes were being painted I could only smell the wonderful orange-y spa scent in the air. So relaxing! I opted for gel and it came out exactly as I asked. My boyfriend did not opt to get a color on his toes but they did ask him if he wanted color. I appreciate that they gave him the option so much! I'm excited to go back for another date night. :)

5-Nail Technician5-Choice of services3-Cost4-SchedulingI started coming here regularly about nine months ago, and I always book with Huong, because she makes my nails look great. She is friendly, attentive, and always does an excellent job. If I have a broken nail, she can fix it where you can’t even tell, and it is a very strong repair. I usually have a gel manicure and pedicure and my nails never chip, crack, or peel off, even after two weeks. They make it easy to schedule online from Google maps, but sometimes, even if you have an appointment, you may have to wait 10 to 15 minutes while the nail technician finishes up the previous client. The place is clean, and has a nice decor but there is a big, empty, fish tank that seems out of place. Restrooms are very clean. Prices seem a little high, but I like supporting local businesses, and this one is two blocks from my house.

Great spa, my manicure and pedicure is always such a wonderful experience! Friendly, clean and knowledgeable. Open till 7pm in your are in the neighborhood I suggest you stop in for some pampering

My girlfriend Delisa introduced me to them and I have been going to them ever since! They do real good on men feet. I'm on my feet all day and they don't judge me. They make me feel comfortable and relaxed. I try to come as often as I come. Thank you all for everything.

I have been coming here for a few months for both manicures and pedicures. I used to drive 30+ mins for my dip nails but this is right around the corner. Kristi is fantastic and is great with dip nails! Everyone is very friendly and very chill atmosphere. I love to set my appointments ahead of time and the booking system so easy to use. Worth the money to take care of yourself and support a great business!

I’m so happy I found American Nails when I moved to Louisville. I always ask for Huong. She’s happy to do lots of color combinations for me! My nails always looks amazing and I ALWAYS get nice compliments. They always respect my appointment time and they have a rewards program for us frequently visitors ?
