Awesome location in Downtown town area. Easy walk to distilleries and great restaurants. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms and common areas clean and nicely accommodated. Breakfast is just okay. If you have to grab something quick it is fine, but would recommend trying one of the other breakfast places in downtown.Our room was missing closet door, the toilet handle wasn't working and we were locked out of our room for about 45min while a nice lady from the front desk tried to reset it.

This is the best place we have stayed in Louisville. The location is great. The staff is EXCEPTIONAL. They are friendly, helpful and kind. Strongly recommend you stay here I know we will again! The beds are comfortable. The common area in the lobby is comfortable and inviting and was a bonus for our group.

We arrived on Thursday, 11/2/23. When we arrived with two other couples, we had booked our rooms separately through a third party site. However, there was no reservation found for me and my husband. As I immediately start to freak out; the younger man at the desk, Kevin, told me not to worry. He told me different was to try and look up my confirmation number. When I couldn’t find it, he said there was still a room available. He was so nice and understanding. As I started to calm down and just pay the price my friends paid and additional $160 the rooms cost now, Kevin did give me a ticket for 2 free breakfasts. I’m not sure if that was what he was supposed to do but it definitely made me feel better. He even remembered us by name as we would come in and out of the lobby. It made us feel special and I loved that personalized attention. I found all of staff to be super friendly which is unfortunately not the norm in today’s hospitality work. Thank you so much!!!Rooms: Rooms were clean, great use of the space. Bathroom lighting was a little poor for getting ready. (My husband said it was fine)Nearby activities: Walking distance to everything we did, never even had to Uber on this vacation which is unusual. Walked to 3 different distillery tours and all our restaurants.Safety: I loved the safety feature on the elevator so no one could get up without a keycard.

We recently stayed in the Aloft for a few nights and had a pretty good experience. Due to some travel frustrations, we missed our connection into Louisville and ended up arriving a day later than planned. I had sent a message to them via the app to explain the situation and they asked me to check in via the app to avoid a "no show" fee and cancellation of my reservation. I did as I was told and everything was seamless thereafter. The place is very centrally located. You really can't do much better. We were there for the Bourbon Trail and there were places within pretty short walking distances. They were also plenty of restaurants and other things to do very close by. The lobby is pretty big with a little area to get snacks (more hefty than the standard). There is also a bar that operates bar hours but we did not take advantage of this (all Bourbon'ed out, you understand). Our room was on the smaller size but big enough for our suitcases which is really all we need. There was a decent view from our windows as well. The bed was SUPER comfy. The towels were soft. The shower water pressure was perfection. Unfortunately, there clearly had been a small leak from above which some black mold had taken the opportunity to grow in and this, somehow, had not been noticed or rectified by the staff. The AC worked wonderfully. We didn't hear jack shit from anyone else. The parking is right across the street and I love the option to self park as well as valet. We randomly got an electric vehicle from enterprise and we were able to charge the car overnight. Very convenient. The staff were all very friendly. Despite checking in on the app and selecting the "daily housekeeping" option, we were asked again when we actually checked in in the flesh. GF did a little switch up and stated that we didn't need it. We were very pleasantly surprised to see our room made up anyway, all of our towels renewed. The mold in the shower was a lil blemish on an otherwise very solid stay.

We had reservations for Nov 1-3 and the night before realized we needed to go the evening of Oct 31st - somehow it confused the front desk as they were made separately- so rocky start by telling us we needed to switch rooms the next day . . . But that afternoon, the front desk supervisor, Annette was on duty and she immediately fixed everything and then some! Annette is a first class professional and she made our 3 night stay special. The location is amazing! Surrounded by trendy hotels, distilleries and the best restaurant in Louisville was directly across the street - Repeal! This place and service knocks Ruby’s out! Best Oak fired steaks and much more! Try Aloft - you won’t regret your choice - location location location!

We were here with 5 other couples for 4 nights and had a very nice stay. Payton, at the front desk, was super helpful and knowledgeable on the area.I'd stay here again for sure.

Stayed 3 nights at Aloft Louisville Downtown and had an amazing time! When we arrived, Kevin welcomed us and got us set up. All the staff were so nice and welcoming. Definitely recommend staying here!

Kevin was wonderful at check-in. Aloft had oversold itself and they randomly picked to move me to another hotel away from my colleagues during a work trip. Kevin saved the day and was able to find me a room and keep us all at the hotel. I am not happy that aloft overbooked themselves, that is not cool and not appreciated.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I must commend Kevin for his exceptional service. He was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request. His professionalism and friendly demeanor made my stay truly enjoyable. I highly appreciate the outstanding service provided by Kevin and would gladly return to Aloft in the future.

Every staffer we worked with was so kind and patient with this very tired traveler. Lulu took great care of us in valet parking. There is self-parking, but so just so much easier to use the valet service. 100% will stay here again.Walkability: Great location near plenty of dining/ entertainment options.

I stayed at this hotel in October 2023. Got into bed with 2 HUGE blood stains underneath the top sheet that were hard like they had been there a while and dried. They moved me to a room that cost more and then charged me for the extra price. I called customer service and could not get a refund for the correct amount. Disgusting. Will never be staying in another aloft.

Relatively new with great location but many issues: -Only room for 2 cars at a time in check in area. No one at valet area when we arrived - 6 cars waited about 10 minutes before anyone came out. Blocked street. -Wanted to charge us extra $25 for checking in early (one hour before 3PM) -After we said we would wait until later to check in, agent never logged us out so we had to wait about 15 min. for them to clear system and check us in later -Room very noisy - toilet sounded like explosion when it flushed; barn door style interior door rattled at night when opened and closed; bars nearby had open windows with music playing until at least 11PM -Only had thin, feather pillows. Very uncomfortable

You have a woman that works at check in at the downtown hotel. She goes above and beyond her job and answered every question that I had. She is so polite and easy to chat with. Great guest service. This woman's name is Emma. I'm glad that you have somebody that we can really put a smile on my face and I won't forget way she made me want to come back.
