Alfurat Market is a small, friendly shop that offers a variety of Middle Eastern groceries and baked goods. Customers can find authentic food items from Europe and the Middle East, including fresh bread like "khoubouz" and "sammoon." The market also has a bakery inside that makes flatbread and boat-shaped bread. On weekends, the store features a small restaurant serving Iraqi kabobs, falafel, and shawarma sandwiches, primarily for takeout. The kabobs are especially popular, with plain kabobs priced at just $2.50 and sandwiches with home-baked bread costing around $5. The shawarma is available on Fridays, with plans to serve it daily soon, as they often sell out of large quantities. The store also sells halal groceries and has a butcher section. Customers praise the friendly staff and good prices, such as a 60-pack of gum and an orange soda for about $8. They also offer 6.5 oz. sugar-sweetened Coca Colas and Pepsis, reminiscent of childhood. While food service is mainly for takeout, there is a small seating area for a few diners. Overall, Alfurat Market is considered an undiscovered gem for authentic Middle Eastern food and groceries, with friendly service and great prices, making it a favorite spot for regular visits.
This place no longer serves food -- only on Saturdays, and only kabobs. Drove a long way based on outdated reviews, so wanted to let everyone else know not to make my mistake

I love this store. Great halal groceries and butcher. You can find wonderful food items from Europe and the Middle East. They also have a small Lebanese restaurant in the back that makes very good, authentic and affordable food.
