One star is too many. Charged a large amount of money for no work done. Ran an anti-virus scanner and charged me for his time. I've never felt more used by a business. I recommend you stay away. You will lose money, and there's not much he can fix. He might have had computer skills in the 80s, but to be charging people for his decades-old knowledge and skills is criminal. He cannot fix computers. He's a glorified, expensive virus scanner. Bench time - it would be funny if it wasn't so expensive and meaningless.

Took computer in for an issue with the graphics card. Got it back with a new card, cleaned up and running like a dream. Eddie was super helpful and responsive. When the first card didn't work, he called up the manufacturer to diagnose and fix the problem. Felt like my own personal help desk.

"ACS" stands for "All Cons and Scams." Eddie is a hustler that belongs in jail. Be prepared to lose your $85 all in the name of "Bench Fee."

Crooks and racists. While inside inquiring about a computer build (which they quoted almost a thousand more than the cost of parts), I heard a guy in the back cussing and dropping the "N" word several times. Also has no respect for the current president and believes that the election was stolen. Take your business elsewhere if you have computer needs.

This is not a bad review, they were polite and charged me $170, or 2 hours work. Apparently my HP laptop started normally when it was there and so they did some general poking around. However, 3 days later, it stopped working again and when I brought it back, I expected some kind of acknowledgement that it still wasn't fixed, that they didn't fix it. But no. They offered to do 4 hours work to flip out the hard drive but charge me for 2, and sell me a used one for $450. It does not take 4 hours to install a solid state hard drive. Sorry but won't go back.

Used ACS twice: once to see if the owner could retrieve Word documents on old 5&1/2" floppy discs-individuals under 50 may not realize 'floppy' really meant bendable, delicate. Not like the hard-encased floppies of this generation. He wasn't able to retrieve all the information, but did a hard fought search & recover. The second time he had to break my password, as the hacker made it impossible for me to login. He was successful in routing out the hacker, and in restoring a little bit of faith--in humanity, not computers.

I have used ACS for computer repairs of and on for the past several years and several laptops and have always received excellent and professional service. Recently I was having some issues but due to several work deadlines and video meetings needed my laptop diagnosed and fixed in as short a time as possible. Ed took it and since it was an emergency was able to find the problem and fix it in an afternoon. Professional and personable to deal with.

I respectfully came to this computer shop with information specifically set out and gave all specs needed for a project I was working on. I spoke with Ed on a few different occasions regarding these specs and what I needed. I have sat on this computer trying to figure out (hints I am no tech genius, but am learning on the way) why I am unable to do what I need to on my sim. I called to speak with him he was rude and very unhelpful with a disrespectful remarks. I mentioned to him I have bought an additional power supply unit as the one he said he built was compatible. It was not! I bout an updated graphics card bcuz he put in one that was no where near compatible with what I gave him. I was new to this all and he took advantage of my lack of knowledge and is refusing to help once I have caught in to what he has done to me. I have spent an additional $560 graphics card and $70 on a new power supply and the mother board he said he built which is a prebuilt is not compatible for neither add on.I also mentioned him taking information off of a laptop I was having him look at. He said it was unrepairable and don’t throw it away give it to me if you are going to. Well that laptop now works.I told him I never gave him permission to take that information and all he said it was a year ago.It just upsets me that I paid for something I trusted I was getting not to mention waiting a few extra weeks because parts were not in. All I called him to ask is if he could correct the mistake. I mean I have already spent an extra $630 and he said well go to amazon order it what you need. Thanks and many Blessings! After speaking with a few other computer companies it was said that it is very sad that someone would do this to someone and that the computer was a pre built off the shelf pc and would barley run free games lol. Have to love this world we live in. People do anything for a buck.

I went to ACS Computers with a Dead Notebook Computer with all of my data on it. Ed Stacey brought it back to life and saved all of my data. I can't thank him and ACS Computers enough. They are reasonable and Life Savers! Best Computer Store in the City!!!
