A very nice, super friendly hosted B&B! Perfect breakfast, too! Our stay was just too short!

Stayed her for 4 nights while exploring the Bourbon Trail. Our room and private bath were clean, and comfortable. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing - I asked for several recipes because it was all so good. The hosts were kind and helpful, and had great stories to share. We enjoyed our stay so much, and were sad to learn the owners are in the process of selling! Glad we got the chance to stay here :)

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary by visiting the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, and 1840 Tucker House was the perfect inn. The room was spacious and comfortable; the breakfasts were delicious and plentiful; the hosts, Steve and Devona, were friendly and welcoming. I have complicated food allergies, and they managed them perfectly. I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough.

We stayed here 2 nights and were extremely pleased with the room, both cleanliness and quality. The breakfast was outstanding and we will definitely return should we come back to Louisville area!

Excellent B&B! Perfect spot for exploring the Louisville region. The house is a wonderful blend of authentically historic, with modern convenience and comfort. Very comfortable bed, great shower, central AC. Very quiet for an old home… we did not hear the other guests or house noise from our room. Breakfasts were delicious and homemade, with local specialties. So much attention to detail… ice machine, drink glasses, stocked mini fridge with water and soda, and snacks.

A family obligation brought my partner and me to Louisville during the snowiest part of January, but because we had the great fortune to stay at Tucker House, what might have been an ordeal turned out to be a wonderful, magical experience that neither of us will soon forget. Looking out at the snow-covered fields and trees from the cozy comfort of our room, lovingly decorated with period furniture and art, made us feel like we had been transported into an early-nineteenth century painting. And Steve and Devona’s hospitality always warmed our hearts (and bellies!) even when the temperature outside threatened to dip below zero. Those amazing breakfasts instantly won a spot in our hall-of-fame of fantastic culinary experiences. We’ve definitely found our go-to place for all future trips to Kentucky.

Steve and Devona are wonderful hosts! She even changed the menu when she learned I was GF. Then Steve went shopping to buy us breakfast to take on the road because we needed to leave quite early the next morning.
Rooms: Super clean and very comfortable.

Quaint old Inn with several steps to climb to our room. Very clean. Extremely small bathroom and not good lighting, with creaky floors everywhere.Delicious breakfast and wonderful hostess. ?We are conservative and did not appreciate the liberal signs in the front yard.

I'm a couple months late in posting, but 1840 Tucker House was a wonderful experience. My wife and I stayed for two nights and spent most of our time exploring Louisville and the surrounding area, but Tucker House was probably the highlight of our trip. The house itself is full of historic charm while still having all the modern comforts. Breakfast was wonderful and Steve and Devona were amazing hosts.

Second stay here and just as wonderfully satisfied as the first time I visited. The grounds and home are beautiful and Steve & Devonna are perfect hosts. My husband and I visited in October and it was an amazing vacation and stay at Tucker House. The breakfasts are 5 star and Steve & Devonna are so accommodating. Would highly recommend over and over again!

An old farmhouse converted into a very nice B&B, within Louisville, but with the feel of being well into the country. My wife and I used this a the base for 3 days of excursions through Bourbon country. Breakfast was excellent. Comfortable places, inside and out, for spending some quiet time. A nice library on Louisville and Kentucky.Owners are friendly and talkative, but not intrusive.Only negative was that the bed was definitely smaller than a queen and was a bit on the squeaky side, but it did not take away from a great getaway.

Our absolute favorite stay on our road trip to New York. This house is immaculate and stunning. Every detail has been seen to. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and private. The bed and bathroom were very comfortable. I want to go back just to stay here. Better than any hotel for the same or better price!
