I trusted that my stuff would be safe ,,, it was not safe ,, when I went to pickup my belongs and I felt violated and I never was told about it,,, they took alot and that man Mike when we were unloading he cone and talk to me I asked him if I put my cookie jars ,, in there he said yes ,, and I payed for good mone lowed all my stuff ,, my trusted them only with my stuff took they took my closes my dresser 3 24 package of tolits and 2 12 package of bounty my cookie jars all I can say my stuff was to the top and when I opens the door my beds were on the floor from top in a 10 x 15 the big from roof down to the floor took every in my chest to a took it all my jewelry box that that had my rings my husband got me before he passed away 8 years ,,, so if I was ever do this place when there own worker tells your safe ,,, and they have a 5,000 cape when it was about 19,000 I way is worth ,, oh and then me a bill do think they think I'm paying that bill ,, no they can't tack it out of the money they owe me. I rented 4 units so far everything has been great except the last unit didn’t have a lock and stuff was in front of the door ( looked like someone just moved out of it) I still gave 5 stars because only one man takes care of it all so I understand. It also would be nice to have earlier access to the gate. Also if they would build any more units it would be better to have a slick finish on the floor because you can’t slide anything delicate on a rough, broom, finish; and it makes it harder to sweep. But I’m a concrete guy so I notice those things.

Horrible service. No one was in the office for a long time during business hours. 800 number tried to assist us in renting a unit but there were no locks where they said there would be and there were wasps nest and cobwebs in every unit we looked at. They charged my card and hung up on me without finishing assisting me. We ended up going to McKnight storage across the road. The service there was so much better and a much cleaner facility.

When we first got our storage units (2) we thought it was a good value and the location is nice and clean. But now we are beyond upset. They have raised the price 3x in the last year and is now over double our orignial price. When I spoke to the manager when we had our 2nd increase 3 months ago he said he had no control over the prices and that the headquarters in Florida sets the rates, and now we got our 3rd rate increase in the mail.
When I called today to ask if there are any units available they quoted me a price that is $100 lower than our new rate, when I asked why it is a good price, the response was that they had 17 units of that size available and so they have lowered the rates to make it more attractive for new customers. A slightly smaller unit (10x15) would get a special of 2 free months or 234.00 off for new customers.
However when I said I was a current customer the mood changed considerably, not hostel but not welcoming. I was told there are no contracts and the rates change when the properties are reviewed every 6-8 months, seems like 3 months to me. Current customers are not eligible for specials, ok got it, (our sized unit was not under one of their specials), shouldn't it be at the same price quoted over the phone?
hmmm. its hard to load a unit, hard to unload and move our stuff to another unit, I think they are counting on that one fact alone. They don't treat current customers very well, save your money, find a better location. We are moving to a new location just up the street for 100.00 cheaper. 1200.00 per year folks!
Oh and one last thing. the main door leading into the climate controlled storage units is damaged to the point where it will not close, the manager said they would be replacing it soon. That comment was 10 months ago. It's about to get very humid in Kentucky!
