“We haven’t been with RRVC long but we have had great experiences with every layer of staff here. The spaces are clean, modern and taken care of well. At our first visit, Dr Back was able to give us a lot of time for questions regarding our dog’s 2nd torn CCL & the options for his necessary surgery: a TTA with a traveling surgeon here in Lex or TPLO in Cinci or Louisville. (We opted to go to Metro Vet in Louisville and had the wonderful Dr Royals for his TPLO). We had vaccinations updated the other day and two techs helped Dr Smith keep my 95# wiggly monster focused to get all the pokes completed quickly and without fuss. Thanks team!!!”

“As ALWAYS, Dr. Schroyer and his team at Animal Care Clinic knocked it out of the park at our recent visit. Our 2 dogs were due for annual check ups and I took along our foster dog just to see what she weighed (she's a big girl and I needed the Clinic scale to get an accurate weight for her). Doc spent as much time with her as he did with the 2 dogs who had appointments. This Clinic truly is the GOLD STD. I cannot recommend ACC any more highly!”

“Life savers for my dog. If I could give 6 stars, I would. My dog collapsed and was diagnosed with Adrenal Gland cancer. It is a rarer cancer. There was a medication by pet hospital prescribed for this type of cancer. No pharmacy had it within a 450 mile radius. I found Rood & Riddle online showing available. I called, and it initially showed not available. The person worked with me, and asked me what I was seeing; and it initially wasn't coded right in their system and we found it. They followed up with my hospital. There were two issues, and they got back to me quickly to get answers. This was Friday morning, and they were able to compound it and get it to me where I received it Saturday morning by 11 AM. I wish every organization ran like this. I extremely appreciate their service, and will use them as my pet pharmacy and can't recommend them enough. The owners and workers here should be very proud. Thank you”

“I really love this place for all of my basic pet needs. It was time for my cats to receive their annual physical and updated shots. They have rooms that are specific to cats and dogs but treats for both in all rooms. In the cat room they have calming spray that you can spritz around their carriers to help relax them. Both the techs and the vets were incredibly kind and efficient. They worked to sooth the cats and distract them while the shots were being given. I will return here for future visits. Side note: they have a sign in the lobby about being kind to employees and the fact that they have to have a sign like that is sad. If you aren't thrilled with them, act like a grown up and go somewhere else. It's not ok to abuse the employees who showed up to take care of animals.”

“Have had great experiences with my pet, Riley, after visiting with Dr. Brad. He was very concerned about Riley's raw spot on his paw. He prescribed a path and medicines to fix the issue. I appreciated the office staff's followup calls to check on him. The only issue I have is with the office policy to place a surcharge and refill limits on presriptions written for meds picked up elsewhere. Never encountered this before.”
“I normally don’t feel compelled to leave a review but I had such an overwhelmingly positive experience here that I feel I should. When my kitten tested positive for FELV at a separate clinic I was determined to find someone who knew a lot about the illness so she could get the best care possible. Dr. Mills and her staff had information and options on hand that I hadn’t encountered with any other clinic. They were kind and respectful throughout the entire visit and above all gave my kitten excellent care. I will be returning to the Hospital for Cats for all future visits❤️ (picture of Sassy below just because)”
