“We haven’t been with RRVC long but we have had great experiences with every layer of staff here. The spaces are clean, modern and taken care of well. At our first visit, Dr Back was able to give us a lot of time for questions regarding our dog’s 2nd torn CCL & the options for his necessary surgery: a TTA with a traveling surgeon here in Lex or TPLO in Cinci or Louisville. (We opted to go to Metro Vet in Louisville and had the wonderful Dr Royals for his TPLO). We had vaccinations updated the other day and two techs helped Dr Smith keep my 95# wiggly monster focused to get all the pokes completed quickly and without fuss. Thanks team!!!”

“I cannot express enough how truly incredible Dr. Alford and her entire team at LVR are! After our Labrador, Colonel, suffered a herniated disc that left him with paralyzed back legs, we were devastated and unsure of what the future would hold. We rushed him in for an emergency hemilaminectomy with a prognosis that wasn’t very promising. Thankfully, a coworker recommended Lex Vet Rehab, and choosing them was the best decision we’ve ever made.
From day one, Dr. Alford, Jesse, Ashlee, and Kaylee have gone above and beyond to ensure Colonel’s recovery and quality of life. The combination of hyperbaric chamber, water treadmill sessions, laser therapy, and gym workouts has worked wonders—he’s now back to enjoying his favorite thing - WALKS! And we could not be more grateful.

“Had only been there for annual checkups for my Cat until last week. When my Cat stopped eating and drinking for a few days they got me right in for an examination. Highly knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. Can’t ask for anything more.”
“I really love this place for all of my basic pet needs. It was time for my cats to receive their annual physical and updated shots. They have rooms that are specific to cats and dogs but treats for both in all rooms. In the cat room they have calming spray that you can spritz around their carriers to help relax them. Both the techs and the vets were incredibly kind and efficient. They worked to sooth the cats and distract them while the shots were being given. I will return here for future visits. Side note: they have a sign in the lobby about being kind to employees and the fact that they have to have a sign like that is sad. If you aren't thrilled with them, act like a grown up and go somewhere else. It's not ok to abuse the employees who showed up to take care of animals.”

“As ALWAYS, Dr. Schroyer and his team at Animal Care Clinic knocked it out of the park at our recent visit. Our 2 dogs were due for annual check ups and I took along our foster dog just to see what she weighed (she's a big girl and I needed the Clinic scale to get an accurate weight for her). Doc spent as much time with her as he did with the 2 dogs who had appointments. This Clinic truly is the GOLD STD. I cannot recommend ACC any more highly!”

“Since I have moved and relocated my senior cat and 2 senior dogs to Kentucky, I can attest of all 3 other vet clinics I have visited--Dr Clark and his staff are more personable and they empathize with my loved ones. Yesterday, I had to make an extreme and devastating decision to put my dog down. Dr Clark examines with so much compassion and honesty. It doesn't matter how long it takes--he is providing exceptional care for your loved ones. I live 30 minutes away and choose any other vet clinics but this one is where I will remain. His staff are very nice, professional, and caring as well.”
