Tony's vs Dealership
The air shocks went out in our Equus, so we took it to a dealership. One of the service technicians was so rude to my husband when he called a couple of days later to check on the progress that he called later to apologize. After almost a week, they finally quoted repairs at $9,218, then mentioned buying the car from us when we balked at the quote -- oh, hell no. We were forced to pay a $400 "diagnostic fee," even though it was painfully obvious what was wrong as the car was almost dragging on the ground AND we told them what was wrong when we took it there.
We had our car towed from the dealership to Tony's. Tony was very kind and sympathetic and actually helped us source the replacement parts to purchase ourselves and keep the price down -- they were $554. Once the parts came in, Tony had our car repaired in less than a day at a price of $455. No diagnostic fee, no waiting a week, no rudeness, no BS.
So.....dealership = $9,618....Tony's = $1,009. Guess who will have ALL of our car repair business from now on? Guess who we will recommend every time a friend or neighbor needs any type of car work done? I cannot recommend Tony's Automotive Repair strongly enough -- a repair shop you can trust that actually cares about customers.

Always friendly, helpful, and professional! There's a good reason that people continue to stay loyal to this business.
My SUV's AC wasn't blowing very strong. The reason why there was a wrong cabin filter in my vehicle. It was too thick, limiting how much air was blowing.

This is the BEST auto care place in Lexington. Tony is honest and knowledgeable. His crew diagnosed and properly fixed my Honda CR-V without any hassle. Truthfully, he goes the extra mile when compared to other auto care services used in the past. I will take my vehicles no where else for on now!
