This is a wonderful place for all ages. There is outdoor seating and the art gallery is my absolute favorite. I went one time and was already sold on LASC's mission, so I bought a membership. It feels like home here.

The Living Arts & Science Center does such wonderful work. The programs are exciting and meaningful for the students, and the staff clearly care about their work. I wish we had more places like this. Definitely check them out.

Can’t recommend this place any more! A true Lexington gem for the community, especially those with children. They have many free events and the general admission on non free days is affordable. It’s a beautiful place filled with local art and creations. My family lives close so we come a lot just to get out of the house for a few hours, and we love the special Saturday events, I believe it’s every third Saturday of the month. Thank you for all you do at the living arts and science center!

What a gem to have in Lexington! Something for everyone in the family to enjoy. The art exhibits are lovely, the activities for kiddos and the recent addition of YOGA programming has been a fantastic new addition! I recently attended the Planetarium Yoga class with Brittany and it was deeply relaxing and downright magical with the Planetarium show! Get to know this lovely spot in the heart of Lexington!

A really lovely place for kids to explore and to view art. I really enjoyed my time here. I’ve visited a few times and the last few times I was here I did planetarium yoga with Brittany! What a unique and beautiful experience it was. Brittany was a fantastic yoga instructor who made the class friendly for all levels, it was an excellent pace, slow, and the directions were well given. Being in the planetarium made the experience even more elevated! Hope to do this again!

I took my granddaughters here. Their ages are 5 and 20 months. They really enjoyed it! They enjoyed a lot of the hands on items in the various rooms ( especially the bugs in see through plastic) all the little creatures - especially Sammy the little bearded dragon . They also liked the planetarium show. A really nice place to take little ones on these winter days. Callie, The Director let them pet Sammy which was so awesome!

This place is outstanding! It is Abe Lincoln's lawyer's house. Gene stopped what he was doing when he saw us and gave a private tour that was outstanding. Would highly recommend. Gene is the best!

This spot I awesome. It is free to enter and you are able to explore the rooms as you please, so long as they are not in use for something. Come view art, or bring the kids to play, explore, and create. Great spot for a birthday party or to just hang out for a bit. Cool animals to view, a cute gift shop, this place has a lot to offer. There is a planetarium I have yet to experience so I can't wait to do that.

Fun and educational, lots to see. The kiddo really enjoyed seeing the animals and can’t wait to go back to see the gardens in spring.

We stopped by the center and it was nice. Unfortunately we stood outside calling for about 10 minutes unable to get in. If you've never been, there's actually a sign that says if the door isn't unlocked to call. There was a space center that looked neat, but wasn't active and since there was a meeting going on there wasn't really anyone to tell us much. We wondered around for a bit and saw some neat stuff. I would definitely come back, but knowing how things were run ahead of time would have been nice. The meeting area looks really nice though.

The various exhibits are well displayed and fun. Lots if room for looking around and seeing the interesting, tiny animals. There's a nice gift shop too. People from Richmond, go to the Day of the Dead Festival. Yours truly has some artwork on display.?

Loved this place! Took my 6 year old that I nanny and he truly enjoyed all the different activities/crafts and animals. This was such a great experience for both him and I. This is a great spot to have fun and to learn something. We will be back!
