Went to a curiosities expo in Louisville where they had a booth, they were so nice and talked to me about some of their favorite vintage pieces. I live here in Lexington and will be going to their physical shop ASAP!! I got two lovely cross-stitched geisha pieces for my partner, and am excited to see what else I can find at the shop!!

While the store itself and the selection of merchandise is amazing, we were not treated like valued customers. Upon walking into the store, my husband said a loud and friendly, "Good afternoon!" to the woman at the sales counter. No response. A few minutes later, he excitedly spotted a piece of art on top of a display cabinet and asked the woman what the price of the piece was, mentioning the artist by name. The woman's response was, "I don't know. I would have to climb up there to find out" in a very disinterested monotone. She obviously didn't give a rat's @ss whether we bought anything or not...and we did not.

In my opinion, this is the most unique and fun store in all of Lexington! That feeling when you find an item you absolutely love and must have, I felt so much here I was overwhelmed. Me and my boyfriend (who hates shopping with me) both enjoyed an hour plus browsing all the amazing vintage items. And… they are so reasonably priced! Forget about the overpriced Etsy shops and go to Subject Matter instead. I will definitely be back and look forward to doing my future holiday shopping here.
