Honestly don't know much about this store. However I do know it is a great place to get the stuff that you may not be able to find at the average liquor store

This is where Liquor Barn is located. Good store. One star off only because it can be challenging sometimes entering and existing.

The worst Liquor Barn in Lexington! There, I said it. I hate it. Why? Because they are totally clueless on bourbon releases. How though? How does the Hamburg location handle the crowds during these releases so smoothly, yet this location bombs? Liquor Barn usually sends out an email blast when they're having an upcoming release on rare bourbons. Sometimes they do it as a lottery, giving each person in line a ticket, but not giving more tickets than there are bottles. Smooth and organized... at the Hamburg location. Because the last email indicated that certain bottles would be available at all LB locations, I decided to go to this location since it was closer to my house. When we pulled up, almost an hour before 9 (when the doors were to open) the line was already almost to the side of the building. Lexingtonians love their bourbon. At every other bourbon release that I've been to, they peek outside and indicate how many bottles that they have. For example, if they only have 20 and there are 30 people in line already, there's no point to staying to wait until the doors open. Well, at this location they didn't even have the respect for the customers to tell how many bottles that they had in stock, knowing that the line was probably double the amount of people as there were available bottles. After the doors opened and we made our way in to the store and in the gigantic line, they only had one register open. The manager or the man who appeared to be a manager stood over to the side of the store, nowhere near the line and patrons and nowhere near the open register. After waiting through the one and only line inside, I was informed by a few people ahead of me that there were only 2 bottles left. Wow! Saturday morning wasted. The worst case of management that I've seen in a long time. Enough about bourbon? This used to be a different corporation and LB took it over several years back, calling it Liquor Barn Express. The location is horrible. You would think that because it's on the corner and on New Circle Road, that it would be convenient? No. In order to turn into it, you have to make a u-turn at the light and then if you want to turn left onto NCR after you leave, you have to exit onto Broadway. Ugh. Just ugh.
