I have been shopping and buying gas from Crossroads IGA for over 2 yrs., and everyone has been professional and pleasant. Today is Xmas Eve and I visited to purchase food & drink less than an hr. ago and didn't realise that the Clerk hadn't put my receipt in one of my bags until I arrived home, neither did she ask if I wanted a receipt, so I assumed she put it in one of my bags as her co-workers always have. I had never seen this lady before so she must be new. Granted, she was only of of the two clerks there, instead of 3 or 4, and her line was long, while the other clerk had only 1 customer at a time and was darting back and forth between the other registers. When I called about my receipt she found it; I ask her to put my name on it, but she wanted to know if I'd be picking it up tonight. When I said I doubted it, before I could say put it aside in case something is wrong with my purchase-Merry Xmas, she blessed me out that she had a long line and abruptly hung up! A professional would have quickly apologized for omitting the receipt, put my name on it, said Merry Xmas & gotten off the phone. I've done her job before & that's the way I would have handled it. I hope NEVER see her again!

Absolutely the worst! The “deals” were actually charging people more!The “fresh” fritters were stale, even though it said they had been baked that morning. It’s waaay over priced and whatever you do, don’t be in a hurry…be prepared to wait in line while a sloth runs the register!!!

Stopped here for an emergency fueling. I definitely was thankful that I was able to make it to the station. It looks fairly new and was very clean and well lit. Didn't have an opportunity to check out the store, though.

I was really excited the first few weeks after this new IGA opened. The store is clean and well stocked. However, after my experience tonight, I really will think twice about stepping foot in the store again. I was checking out this evening 8/19/2020 around 6pm and the cashier (Jasmine K.) was very short and borderline rude to start. I didn't think much of it, everybody has a bad day. She then asked me a question and I simply couldn't understand her (I am very hard of hearing in my left ear) I then watched her roll her eyes and turn to the other cashier who laughed out loud. At this point, I was getting aggravated but remained calm and said, I'm sorry I have a hard time hearing. She then loudly blurted something out in a very rude manner. It's probably a good thing that I couldn't understand her because I'm sure it was some type of insult. This wasn't simply a misunderstanding, it was pretty clear that this person was not happy with her current job situation.This is really disheartening to me as I really enjoyed this store. I was in retail years ago and if I was reported acting in this manner, I would have been terminated immediately.
