We hired Safeway for an interstate move from NKY to MD. We asked for quotes from the top 3. Our rep, Allen, was the most professional and helpful out of the 3 companies we looked at. The quote was competitive so we picked Safeway. Before the move they communicated well. The move went great, delivery was on the 3rd day and the movers/drivers were very professional. It was the biggest move we had ever made and Safeway made it worry free.

I didn’t hire them, another resident used them. The walkway to the apartment building was blocked by their ramp, forcing residents to walk through the grass and landscaping. They took up two spots, one of which was handicap. From your website: “ Our courteous and professional movers will arrive at your home or business with smiles on our faces, ready to move your belongings swiftly and safely.” The movers were loud, I obviously don’t expect them to not talk while they’re moving stuff but they were legit yelling most of the time and using foul language. Things were being thrown over the balcony. At one point they were speaking negatively about the person that hired them. Moving soon myself, wouldn’t use this company based on this.

The worst moving company I have ever experienced. Lost $2000 worth of property, had insured and never recovered the money. They are over priced and have poor customer service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Their competitors have better rates and service.

This is the second time we have used Safeway for our moves and we were beyond pleased! The team we had was beyond careful with our belongings, very professional, and extremely kind! We enjoyed having them in our home. They made our move less stressful because we knew they were taking care of our stuff. I would highly recommend this business for your move!

All of our furniture was damaged. we're missing a television and found broken television parts in our storage unit. The storage unit was packed with wood on wood causing scratches and gouges. we were even given paperwork for the driver that stated our furniture was found in water at their facility prior to shipment. The sad part is their sister company Mayflower did an amazing job wrapping and loading our furniture at our home and this company ruined all of the good work Mayflower did. We will be lucky if any of our furniture gets repaired even with extra insurance coverage.

From the start of Rick and Christina Macon arrived their friendliness and professional manner was welcomed. They were very clear explaining how they would load our household goods and asked if we had preferences as to how we wanted the boxes, furniture, etc. When we met them iat the destination n Austin they were on time and worked steadily.We commend them on their work ethic ( top notch ) and, to say again, professionalism. We would recommend them highly.

Used Safeway Moving (AKA UniGroup which owns Mayflower) which they use to move me from Lexington, KY to Fort Worth, TX and I wish I had gone with a different company. They refused to pay me the $3,142 worth of damages they caused in the move. They were only willing to pay me $1,244 and when I spoke with someone on the phone about this issue. They were extremely rude and basically told me F off. And then proceeded to hang up on me. So I would highly recommend you do yourself a favor and find another moving company.

Selected Safeway (Mayflower) for our move from Lexington to Pensacola, FL after interviewing a couple of moving companies in town. Ben Pelham was thorough, informative, and super responsive from the day I reached out to them. The packing team moved us into a storage facility very efficiently and the crew maintained such a positive attitude despite it being a super hot summer day. I would recommend you interview Safeway regardless of who you think you want to move with. You won't be upset when you select them.

I wish I could give 10 stars! I used Vincent Fister moving company & Safeway movers to help me move out of my 3 bedroom house into another in Lexington. Eric, Matt & "Pops" were an awesome trio that made us feel comfortable that our valuables were safe. We ended up getting along great, and I could not have asked for a better team in making our stressful move a breeze! Thank you guys all so much for your help and assistance! I highly recommend Safeway & Vincent Fister moving services.

They called me and I didn’t pick up so I called them back. Didn’t even say hello or ask who I was just said “shipping from house, apartment, or storage?” Um excuse me you called me!! Learn some customer service skills
