Things that don’t happen on the southside..
We avoid North park Walmart like the plague but ended up there. Decided to stop at the Ross next door. We’re checking out at the register closest to the door, right next to the lost prevention guy. Mind you whom is decked out in full on riot gear. Body cam included.
We have one item, $10 toddler boots. Standing shoulder to shoulder with this man and he still felt the need to check our receipt AND bag.
Homebody how much you really think happened in the time it took us to break eye contact for me to grab the receipt. I can’t tell if lost prevention is on a power trip or a crack binge, either way they lost their mind 😂😂😂

I realized what I was getting myself into going to Ross, but this store was a mess. Maybe it was the time of year and being a Sunday late afternoon, but I’d suggest going elsewhere if you’re looking for a low stress environment to shop.

Like don't buy clothes from Ross's Dress for Less the one off Russell cave Road and New Circle Road because I had bought some clothes from Ross's yesterday took them home and they have bed bugs every thing in the store has bed bugs on them

They don't adhere to store policy. They weren't open at the posted time. I called and was curtly told they would open when they wanted.

Have to choose 1 star because that's the lowest choice. Can't find any size due to stuff placed everywhere with no order. Clothes hung on hangers with wrong size listed. Cashier never spoke a single word. Only bright spot was the lady checking receipts, only friendly employee in the building. Clear night and day difference with the Hamburg store.

I had a terrible experience with a clothing store associate at this Ross location. I never felt so discriminated against in my
life until today!
The dressing room associate (she wears a Hijab) was extremely rude and unhelpful. She ignored me. I was standing waiting to go inside, and she purposely was not telling me I could enter the changing room. She had me wait, and I waited for about 5 minutes.
When two Spanish girls walked up, she immediately assisted them and told them it wasn't a line. This associate was nonchalant, and I can believe she let me stand there on purpose. ( BTW, I am an African American woman)
Once I came out of the changing room she accused me of taking an item, claiming one was missing but she didn't even count or check first. I showed her all 8 of my items were present I counted them out of her twice.
She still said it was missing then she counted it and rudely told me to take the items to the floor and put them away.
I told her “I thought we leave them with you”. Sher kept trying to make me take the items and put them away when I refused. She did her job. The level of disrespect and she didn't try to assist me. I had never felt so discriminated against in my life!
I am unhappy with the service I received today, so that I will talk to the store manager! He apologized to me. It seems he was trying to make an excuse for her behavior, saying she's new and he's the new manager! It's still not an excuse! He mentioned he would address this problem.

The person checking us out was beyond rude. She was loud, hateful, and spoke aggressively to the customers, nit just us. Instead of announcing her register was openshe would wave a flag or smack the flag on the counter. If no one noticed, she would aggressively start yelling out, she was, " i am open if you want to buy your stuff and get out of here. Can't you see me. What is wrong with these people."

Ross is one of the stores I like to shop at when I'm in this particular area. However, the last time I went to Ross, I couldn't find a thing I wanted to buy, either it was not my style, not my size, or too expensive for what it is. No luck at this Ross.
