My salesman DJ was phenomenal. He went above and beyond helping me get the best deal possible. Living a little over 4 hours away from the dealership, being able to work out a deal can feel overwhelming. However, DJ made the process easy and efficient. Highly recommend.

This Chevrolet Dealer is fantastic. They are so easy to work with. The repair service department and especially Joe who has helped when I had to reschedule so many times because of unavoidable circumstances. Thanks Joe, and thanks Rod Hatfield Chevrolet.

Cannot express how terrible our experience with this service center has been. “Repairs” take a minimum of ten, sometimes over 20, days to get work approved, parts delivered and work finally done, even when the work itself would take less than a day. Yet the work is never done properly.
The first major issue we had was a few years ago so we chalked the delay up to COVID shipping delays. However, they did not properly seal a tire to a the rim after rim replacement. I brought it back to dealership multiple times to diagnose why tire kept losing pressure. This continued even after replacing all 4 tires. They were never able to diagnose the problem and told me to just to keep an air compressor handy. Finally after several years of living with the problem (and keeping air compressor in car to fill my tire ever couple weeks) I took to another tire center who immediately diagnosed, and fixed the problem for free in less than an hour and it has never happened again.
Vehicle had been a lease and subsequently purchased the vehicle from this dealer and purchase warranty at their suggestion so thought we had to use them for service. Unfortunately, the service has not improved. Vehicle has been to service center multiple times since April of this year. Each time this dealership “repairs” something within days a new issue arises. I have been told the “new issue” is related to the original work done by this service center so I have to take it back them or the warranty company will not cover the repair. Yet once work starts the dealership claims it is something totally new and unrelated, costing me additional deductible and other charges. I have paid nearly $1000 in deductibles alone over the last 4 months simply because they cannot properly diagnose and fix the issue.
Communication is poor both between dealership and customer but also dealership and warranty company causing additional delays yet neither service center nor warranty company will cover the cost of a rental for additional days despite the delay being ? their fault. At one point there was an additional 4 day delay in repairs simply because the dealership didn’t realize parts had been delivered, yet I was charged for those rental car days. Most recently the dealership told me they were waiting on the warranty company to come out and do their own inspection, however the warranty company had NOT told them that and the warranty company was waiting on dealership to send photos causing almost an additional week delay. Most recent visit took 20 days to get work done, work that itself took less than 1 day to complete. After I finally spoke with warranty company to get work confirmed and approved the dealership told me for 4 days in a row the work would “be done that day.” Luckily this time around I was smart enough NOT to use their rental car so was just hugely inconvenienced having to borrow cars from family or share with my husband to get to our jobs and rely on friends and family to get our children to their activities.
But, per usual, the day after I got the vehicle back the exact problem still exists so I will be taking it to another service center to actually fix it and will have to determine how to hold Rod Hatfield responsible for their incompetence costing me additional money and time without my vehicle.

Very pleased. On a long trip heading to Bowling Green for the Corvette Caravan, my exhaust developed a problem and a pesky ABS light came on again. As I was passing through Lexington, I stopped here and they worked me in with their Corvette mechanic. They fixed the ABS light which my own dealership never could do and I hope it lasts. They diagnosed the exhaust issue as a control module which is now discontinued by GM. They told me what part and where I can buy it so that I can get that repaired back home. So relieved to get good service so far from home.

If you own a Chevrolet Volt with the Shift to Park issue, do not bring it to this dealership. They will not follow the service bulletin for the issue and will try to make you pay for the service out of pocket instead of under the Voltec warranty. I unfortunately brought my car in for the issue since I thought there was no way they could screw this up.
After 3 weeks of being provided misinformation and having to educate their staff, they still refused to follow the service bulletin. I was then forced to pay the diagnostic fee and do the warranty service myself. It only took 30 minutes and $20 but I no longer had the issue or the code they used as justification to avoid doing the correct repair.
The level of service provided raises either incompetence or ethical concerns since 5 minutes of inspection would have verified my issue correctly. The fact that 5 minutes of looking at the part in question would have confirmed the warranty repair was necessary means that the $200 you pay for a "diagnostic" is most likely them just pulling a code.
On top of all this, when I dropped my car off for repair, I notified Brian that my tire had a slow leak and needed patched. Nothing was noted in the service order about the leak. After the service department manager again provided more misinformation to me about my issue, they had to then go put air into the tire in order to drive out to me.
After 2 bad experiences in a row with this dealership and warranty repairs, I've decided I no longer want to own a car that requires this dealership to provide warranty repairs on and we've moved on.
Also, beware that this business astroturfs its 5 star reviews by asking customers to leave 5 stars before service is done. Which is why you see so many 5 star reviews with no text.

BEWARE!!! READ THIS!!! Ok, so 4 weeks ago I bought a used Dodge Journey from the used car department on New Circle. So far so good. I know they serviced this used car as most dealers do. So, today I decided to change the oil and oil filter myself, I have always changed my own oil and oil filter, I run the oil I want, as well as my own peace of mind it is done correctly. Anyways, so I get the car on ramps and get underneath to do my thing, only to find out, what ever idiot in the service department changed the oil obviously over torqued the engine oil drain plug and stripped it out, so instead of fixing it properly and taking some pride in their work and the dealers reputation, they just put some kind of sealant on it.. so whomever buys this car, they can just deal with it… so needless to say, this can be fixed, but it will cost me money and time… So, with this being said, keep in mind if you plan on doing any kind of business with this dealer, especially working on your vehicle. If this is the way they handle an oil change….Can you imagine a job that actually requires some skill?? Better do your research folks
