When I scheduled the POD I was told they would waive the delivery fee because I've been a long time customer. Instead they charged me for it and now say they can't remove any valid charges. The delivery person was so rude. He took a photo of my son's license plate. It felt so strange. I should have gone with Packrat or another company I think. I have a budget. This made a difference to us!

This review reflects the basic problem with a big company that takes the customer for granted and is designed to convolute basic procedures to the point of exploitation without any sense of regard. Important to be known to anyone looking to use their services. (Dispute Number 2392138).The overall move experience was average, loading / transport being satisfactory but drop off being a nightmare due to obscure "subjective" driver judgement. This is for October 2022- Communication was horrible the day of drop off which turned our cross country move with a toddler in to an absolute nightmare requiring us to make last minute improvisations and changes with the unloading team resulting in additional unjust costs that we had to incur.Since that time, a complaint/ dispute was filed (with dispute number 2392138), several hours were spent with different people on the phone, explaining the incident and what exactly happened over and over again. There was email correspondence for a few weeks following which I patiently waited for a response back. Weeks became months and now 8 months later, I have not received any response to email follow up that I have attempted.It seems it is a company culture and strategy to convolute the process to the point, purposefully frustrating the customer, anticipating that 95% customers will just give up. It is an extremely insensitive attitude that is shameful and at this point I felt it necessary for this incident to be known to anyone considering using their services.

Used PODS for our move from. Florida to Kentucky. The coordination of having 3 PODS delivered, picked up, moved to KY, delivered to the new house, and picked up could not have been gone better. Each person I was with was pleasant and very helpful.

USE ANOTHER COMPANY, THEY WILL OVERCHARGE YOU!They overcharged me. Disputed charge. Emailed back and forth (attaching original quote) and they wouldnt budge on adjustment. So im paying over $1K more than what was expected. Also i unloaded PODS within two days of being delivered and they wouldnt pick them back up for two weeks. TWO weeks they were in my driveway, empty! Maybe i should backcharge them storage fees!

If I could give them -20 stars I would. They charged my card 3 unauthorized charges both before drop off and during. They parked the pod right in the middle in front of my garage so we can’t access the garage. When calling customer service no one can help nor has access to anything so good luck getting money back or help understanding why they do what they do. Currently fighting with them to get my $800 back which was only supposed to be $300… they say they didn’t take but I have bank proof! They won’t pick up the pod so I’m currently driving through landscape to get to my garage. They have no clue what’s going on. The delivery team for the pod even told me how awful the company is… that should have been a red flag but I was in the middle of moving. This company should be shut down and not allowed to screw people over. I’m sure karma will come around.

Sure the convenience is great. But what they say and what they deliver are 2 different things. Every quote is different, every agent offers different or no specials. I was told there would be no rental charge for 60 days after pickup. Well they did charge. While they say calls are recorded, they will only honor the fine print in the contract, and not what the agents say. They cost over $5000 to move. Now I have emergency repairs and wish I hadn't paid Pods. It is cheaper to rent your own truck, you won't have regrets like I do.

I wouldn't even give them 1 star. They have horrible customer service and it was the worst experience ever. Would definitely never use them again or will never advise anyone else to use them. You should listen to how rude they are on the phone conversations with me and all I wanted was my stuff that I paid an excessive amount to be delivered to my home and yet they wouldn't, so I had to hire a moving company to get it from their facility. Never again will I use this company for anything!!!!

I was shocked at how many things we could put in the biggest pod they had. We weren't at our drop off location when the pod was delivered and the driver called me for placement. After unloading the pod, we realized some of our items were broken and had to put them out to the trash. (Two dressers) The pick up and delivery was easy.

Booked PODS for an interstate move. The driver decided not to place the POD and we did not get it delivered to our driveway. We were still charged for the ENTIRE move cost on the day the delivery was supposed to happen. They did not charge piecemeal. We are waiting for our money back, I think PODS is a scam!

Used PODS for a cross-country move, and while expensive (I don't think it's the company's fault, I imagine gas prices had an impact on cost) we were really happy with how they honored the pick up and drop off dates we scheduled. I was extremely nervous to send all of our belongings off into the ether, but they did what they said they would do and everything arrived safely and on time. All of the drivers we interacted with were very nice as was the customer service.

Driver that delivered our pod spent more time promoting his real estate side hustle which was not a big deal but not professional, I guess he assumed we were selling or moving because of the pod and wanted to get involved if we were. The pod leaked, we were assured it wouldn’t but water entered all along the seams. Thankfully it did not damage our furniture. Side of the pod was delivered with existing impact damage that was patched (and leaked) and the door was difficult to operate. Not trying to be picky and I seldom leave unfavorable reviews but PODS really pushed for me to leave a review and I feel like I can’t give a 5 star rating and must justify why.

The customer service agent that helped the initial order was amazing! She was kind and explained everything I needed to know and then some. The driver to dropped the POD off and pick up at our storage facility to be packed, was great! He was friendly and explained the process to us and made sure the POD was easy for us to access. The driver that dropped our POD off at our new residence was friendly and kind as well and went out of his way to drop the POD where I wanted it, rather then where it was easier for him. He had to maneuver and have patience to get it where I wanted. He was great! Same with the gentleman that picked the POD up after we were done unloading! Great experience other then pricing and size of PODS available to ship to Hawaii! We will definitely use again if needed and we will recommend to our family and friends!

Using PODS made for one of the easiest, least stressful moves I've made. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and helpful. I would recommend PODS to friends and family.

Dont use this company! PODs customer service is awful! Schedule all of your pickups and deliveries in advance, and dont ever try to reschedule! The new date will be out far enough that you are guaranteed to be billed for additional storage. The service reps are able to schedule, reschedule, and take orders, but anything out of the ordinary is beyond their capability. We asked to speak to a supervisor, and were told that it would be a call back. No one ever called back. One of our PODs was undeliverable due to local ordinance...I looked up the ordinance, and PODs was wrong. It's been a week, and I still haven't found a way to speak to someone about it. Meanwhile. Additional storage fees have been charged. Don't use this company!

While fantastic on the front end, PODS could not honor the final delivery date as scheduled and did not notify me of this until less than 24 hours beforehand. I had to frantically reschedule freight elevator and movers to accommodate a different delivery day and time.Most things also couldn’t be handled online after the fact, so I repeatedly had to call to ask for information or make adjustments. This meant being on hold or waiting for a callback. I did find that chat agent responded more quickly.
