I took a brand new dress shirt I bought at Macys to be Dry cleaned for a funeral we were attending out of town. I came in to pick it up, and was told it was lost. I was told they would reimburse me for the shirt, I have send copies of the receipt where I purchased and all my mailing info. I still have not received a check or reimbursement of any kind. I didn’t even get reimbursed for the cost of the cleaning on the lost shirt. The you man in the store I spoke with multiple times has been great. The manager / owner I spoke to has failed to follow through with what they promised. I have called many times. I have send multiple reminder text and even offered to meet to pick up a check to no avail. I understand things happen, but this was a brand new $72.08 shirt! This is not ok, and I want this resolved.

Desperately needs to update its google listing!No same day service and the hours are not correct. Do not drive out of your way for same day service, because they do not offer that at this location.Service: Alterations

I dropped off shirts to be cleaned and pressed on Friday. Was told I could pick them up the following Thursday. A whole week later. Went to pick up an order--twice--during regular business hours and found a sign on the door "Be back soon." Not a lot of focus on customer service, in my opinion.

The fragrance or chemicals they use is so strong and worse, it makes me break out in hives and rashes. Will be considering other dry cleaners or at home alternatives.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I dropped a pair of Ugg boots off around 10/11 or 10/12 and they were supposed to be ready 10/31, but I didn't get them back until 11/9. I kept calling to see if they were ready and they told me they would call when they came in, but they never called. I went in there on 11/9 and there they were. I just assumed they were fine because they were in a clear bag, so I just brought them home and hung them up until I could spray them. Today, I took them out of the bag and the button on one of them was completely torn off and gone. I called the store and they told me the only thing they can do is send them back to see if they will fix them. ummm, no thanks. Send them back so they can be there for over a month just to SEE if they can fix them?! I called back and told them I paid 40$ for these shoes to be cleaned and they came back with a missing button, so I can't even wear them and I have to find a replacement button to fix it myself. The woman on the phone proceeded to tell me she had customers and she gave me another number to call and complain. Seriously????? Never again.

I've never had a dry cleaner turn me down because I wouldn't prepay for services not yet rendered. Why would I pay for laundry services before I even see that they were cleaned properly? And this is all of the sudden. Never had to prepay here before. It was always an option but they never required it until today... The last day I visit this location. I'll take my 50 items of clothing somewhere else to be cleaned, probably at a better price and definitely with better customer service.

My by far favorite cleaner in the area. I live in Paris but this Newport is in an easily accessible route that when I need to have stuff dry cleaned etc will add Newport into the errand run. Everything is always handled very well. Prices are as expected for the quality and timeliness. I love the one day turn around and Saturday availability. The staff is always competent and respectful. I will continue to use this cleaner when the need arises. I highly recommend this cleaner to anyone in the area who might need the services.
