Horrible unprofessional people that shouldn’t be aloud to run people’s health care

Does not follow their mission statement of helping the family out what so ever. Goes highly aganist helping the family and refuses to tell you anything and wants to throw up hippa law left and right even though the information being requested does not go aganist hippa law according to leading lawyers in the area.

This place is a joke. I've done a telehealth with a therapist there, spoke with their doctor on multiple occasions and even have made appointments. Now they want to throw Hippa around. Even if asking for a new therapist they say it's against hippa. The receptionist named Yolanda thinks and acts like a therapist and the therapists all act like they are new unpaid interns and don't know any answers to anything.

I saw two counsellors (Matthew Cornu and Kristen Luoma) for a year via telehealth and made no progress on my mental health. I was not given a clear plan of what cbt practices or anything else that would be implemented, no diagnosis, an no clear timeline of when things would be better. They are also overbooked, so scheduling was a nightmare. The counselors could never remember who I was or what I had previously said in prior sessions. I paid to talk to a person one a month maybe (again, scheduling is terrible) for an hour, for a year, and wasted my time. I would not recommend using new vista at all.

They do not answer their phone, do not respond to voicemails, and do not respond to emails. They cancel or are late to appointments with no notice. They cancelled 3 appointments in a row for my daughter, so we sought services elsewhere. I would recommend you do the same.

Why is there no one answering their phone anymore where services are provided. If they open at 8am to 5pm someone should be in the office to answer the phones

This place is a complete joke. My son’s mental health was not a concern whatsoever with this place. Took forever to get an appointment. Once we did, the therapist was late, didn’t bother to call and tell us. I had to call MYSELF to remind them to have the therapist jump on our zoom call. Unreal. The second appointment, I took time off work for the early morning appointment and THE DAY OF I called them since the therapist was late again! Well, this time she completely called off!! Not even a courtesy notice, did not try to find another therapist and to make matters worse, they said the next appointment would be almost a month away! How in the hell do they expect to truly help our children? I had to wait on hold for 38 minutes just to cancel their services only to get hung up on and have to call back. I’m sure they wouldn’t have forgot to send me a no show fee though. Horrible place! DO NOT GO HERE!

Nikki Griffin told me she couldn’t help me but I needed 4 sessions for a psychiatrist referral. She was late to every zoom and spent less than 30 minutes each time with me. I had to wait over a month for our last session and she told me I’d get a call for a referral 2 weeks later. I never got the call and when I inquired she left a note that she wouldn’t be referring me, didn’t even tell me herself. She only contacted me after I asked a note to be left telling her I wouldn’t see her again. She told me she had more emergent patients than me and didn’t try with me. She has no idea my mental state and clearly she doesn’t care if you’re struggling.

As a health care professional, I would NOT recommend New Vista to anyone. If you are in crisis, you may be able to talk to someone. However unless you are suicidal, getting any follow up treatment is extremely difficult.Unfortunately, they just dont seem to really care about people. Please get help for yourself or your lived ones. You wont get that help from New Vista

Do NOT use this place if you want your children's best interest to be kept. They recommended my children start seeing their father, who was abusive to them and I. Who was charged with 3 felonies and NEVER received help.

The people of New Vista are amazing! They truly care for their clients, work hard to make a difference, and listen to the needs of the person in front of them. So amazing!

On this website they state that they have a walk in clinic from 2:30 p.m. To 4:30 p.m. every weekday at the place on mechanic street. This clinic is supposed to be for substance abuse patients who wish to receive same day treatment. Meaning medication assisted treatment. I knew that within the hour I was about to be in SEVERE opiate withdrawal and I was scared. So very scared. So I had every intention of walking in there at 2:30 to receive help. I waited in the parking lot over an hour because I was afraid there would be a line to get in to see a doctor. So after sitting in the parking lot over an hour I walk in and I tell them I'm there to receive help. They looked at me like I had 3 heads. They said that program *ended* at 2:30 p.m.. I walked in looking like a corpse. I had tears in my eyes. I wanted help. I needed help and was practically begging for help. I looked and felt like I was on my deathbed. When a patient walks in to a facility and says I need help with tears in their eyes and bruises up-and-down their arms they need to be helped immediately. Because I can tell you it is very easy to change your mind. Any time an addict requests help, they need to be helped in that moment because once they change their minds that could lead to deadly consequences. Since I walked in right at 2:30 p.m., and they said the clinic ended at 2:30 p.m, I do not believe for 1 second that there was nobody on site that could take me and help me. They tried to tell me I need to schedule an appointment. So if anybody sees that on their website I hope they read this review.. otherwise they will be wasting their time. And to new vista, please take that off your website or change it to the correct information. Wrong information on your website can lead to serious consequences. Addiction is not something to play with. It's not like having the flu or a cold. If an addict is turned away, they could walk out those doors and use and it could be their last use...
