I've given this business a few tries to do an SNS manicure knowing sometimes people have off days, but I've been 4 times now and it really is hit or miss. If you go, ask for the guy that works there. His skills, personality, and gentle hands are worth it.
The business itself is clean and inviting, but there is one nail tech in particular that is exceptionally rude and rough with her work. She talks to customers like they're dumb when they ask anything. A lady came in for a pedi that had 2 colors and she was told "we can't do that", which based on design I can understand. But, then she openly talked and laughed about that customer to other employees while the customer was sitting in the pedi chair.
As for quality, I got an SNS set a week ago, the nail tech left a very sore burn on my thumb from filing too much, and I have had 2 nails pop off and 2 lift over the past 7 days. I'm not overly rough on my hands so there should be no reason for them to just pop off while doing a simple task like drying my hands.

There wasn't much to say about this place that's positive. Had an appointment, and sat in the chair 35 minutes more waiting for her to start. Got a gel polish pedicure and it wasn't brushed on very well and looks messy now. The pedicurist next me mine talked incessently on her phone THE ENTIRE TIME. Thought the price was high for what I got ($55). Sorry but won't go back...

I get a pedicure about every 3 weeks, this was my first and last experience with this business. My technician was very rough, digging her nails into my feet when manipulating me, she actually left a thumb size bruise on my foot. My technician put so much chemicals on my feet they cracked and spotted.

The lady that was doing my nails is so rude! I asked for a white chrome color and she put a nudecolor talking on the phone while doing my nails she was taking bad about customers shame on her. I told her about my nails she said no hunny it's pretty because she didn't want to redone them again she charge me $65 she said I have you the best price in town I gave her $10 on tip because I felt bad not giving her., I shouldn't tip her with her bad aditude never coming back again!!!! Lady's don't waste your money,time at this salon.

The quality it poor compared to most places. Also I got a pedicure and picked out a nail polish instead of telling me that the nail polish I picked out would be an additional $15 it was just added on at the end without telling me anything. Also my thumbnails do not match. And I'm assuming they must use the cheapest glue possible because the top of my fingernails the glue has already came off

I just left Model Nails. I have been going here since moving to Lexington in 2016, albeit a few times a year (for regular polish or gel manicures or pedicures). I called before I came to check on the wait and was told there was no wait to come on in. I live less than 5 minutes away, so I hurried over, checked in and sat down. There was 2 customers being served in the manicure area and 2 in the pedicure area. I came in for a simple nail polish manicure and brought my own polish. I waited for 10-15 minutes and left. Not due to the wait, but because the female nail technician in the manicure section was yelling and berating a female customer. The customer was in the middle of getting her nails done and wanted ombré nails, not 1 color. She asked the technician if she was a nude/beige color and the technician said no. Thinking the nail technician didn’t understand her, she politely tried to rephrase her request in a very respectful way. The technician became very angry and combative and kept saying no and got angrier and angrier. The customer said “you mean you had no nude colors in the WHOLE store” and that is when the nail technician stood up and yelled and screamed at the customer (who kept her calm the entire time and was very respectful). I was so disgusted by the behavior that I left and walked out. They lost my business for good. You never speak to a customer that way.

Did my granddaughter's nails and they look terrible. The acrylic on manicure is too thick and will take her tomorrow to redo at another salon. The store is in need of a good cleaning. Will not go back...

My nails weren't terrible, but they certainly weren't great either. I got a new full acrylic set and the acrylic was left thick towards my cuticle and thinner at the tip of the nail which was weird and as they grew out it was very noticable. Nails aside the strangest thing that happened and certainly left me concerned about the girl working there was the fact that I made some comment and she just smiled and didn't say anything, so I then said something about the weather being nice out and she smiled and said I'm not supposed to say anything back to you. ? That's it; like she's not allowed to talk about anything other than the nail service she's performing. There was a man working in there as well, and appeared to be domineering, so I assume he's the one who isn't allowing her to speak. Needless to say I wont be backService: Acrylic nails

This is the most horrible shop that I've EVER been to... My nails and feet looked better when i got there than when I left. My feet were still dirty. I had to IMMEDIATELY go to Viva Nails to get them RE-DONE.. Will NEVER go back...

They did terrible work on my wife and I . I just wanted manicure and they did it in literally 10 mins . 30 second massage and filed my nails down to almost numbs !! My wife wanted French tips and not all of her nail tip was covered in white . Terrible place to get nails done .

Unwilling to repair a broken thumb nail that had popped off only after a week. They wanted to charged me.
