Berva is an amazing horse woman, knowledgeable and fun friendly and admirable cares deeply for her horses and loves to share the passion and knowledge that she has about them along with the history of the white thoroughbreds. Definitely put this on your list of places to visit if you are in or near Lexington

My husband and I took a Lexington weekend getaway and found this tour on Travelocity. Berva was a wonderful guide to this beautiful farm. We were able to interact with the horses and learn of her efforts breeding white thoroughbreds. There was a lot going on as the barn cats and dog Champ helped guide us to see the bunnies and chickens as well. We even collected eggs and came home with over a dozen fresh ones! It was a beautiful day to walk around the different paddocks. Parking was right in front of a wecoming barn with candy liquor samples and we were offered bottles of water. There was a restroom available. The only issue we had was that we were supposed to receive a code to get in the gate and we didn't get it. But we called the Megson Farm number and got in right away. The signage to the farm was clearly marked.

The farm is so beautiful and breathtaking! We fell in love with it the moment we drove in. Berva and Valerie showed us around with so much patience. We learned so much during the tour! The horses they have at the farm are so unique! Make sure you visit the cute little gift shop there. They have really cool things!

Wowza! If you find yourself in Lexington do not hesitate to spend a little time at Megson Farms. We had a lovely tour by owner and operator Berva who detailed the farm, the herd preservation, and introduced us to so many of her stunning horses. Both our littles had a truly mesmerizing experience (ages 11 and 5) running the grassy green paths, greeting each new horse they encountered while Berva explained the genetics of the herd. There is something magical about being at Megson Farms. I immediately felt relaxed, wanted to grab a glass of wine, sit a spell, and enjoy the gifted moment. I can just imagine a wedding or a bridal shower on the grounds with the vibes created. This family owned and operated farm has a passion for what they do, and it shows. Thanks for letting the Provenzola’s spend some time with you Berva, we had the most beautiful day!

Our tour guide had very little knowledge about horses or breeding. The barns were full of boats, cars and lawn equipment, not horses. They haven’t bred horses in at least two years. Very disappointed.....

Megson Farms is 65 acres of beautiful rolling hills, and home to a herd of about thirty rare white and multi-colored thoroughbreds. Seeing them gallop over the hills is a beautiful thing. Mother daughter duo Berva and Valerie are the caretakers of the farm and its four legged residents. They are amiable and welcoming to guests. Events can be scheduled on the farm, a lovely backdrop to any special occasion. 121

We booked a tour and Pegasus picnic. The tour was interesting, and informative and the horses and property were beautiful. We were able to feed carrots to the horses! Our picnic dinner was fun, well presented and very tasty. We really enjoyed the whole evening and the time put into making this a fun visit for our family.
