We visited Macys today to find my dad and stepmom clothes for my wedding. Sandra him mens suits was SO HELPFUL, and we scored some great finds on the clearance rack!My stepmom found a great dress on final sale, and the ladies in the dress department were so friendly and helpful! I didn't catch their names, but I hope the store reads this and finds both of them AND Sandra and credits their great attitudes!

I jokingly refer to Macy's as "the mothership," but since I was a freshman in college it has been a staple in my shopping excursions. The deals can't be beat, and I'm a slave to Last Act (any department), especially at the end of a season. Back Stage hasn't been my most favorite, but for home goods and men's casual apparel it's worth a browse whenever I go in. I'm such an evangelist that I had my husband apply for a card and get his wedding suit there last year! I only have two ongoing qualms: the near-constant moving of departments, and the lacking cleanliness - both of which I can mentally set aside. Earlier this week I was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon a new Kentucky section on the second floor, and just a few aisles away, a Toys R Us installation! I'll give it to them, Macy's is trying to innovate and stay afloat, and I'm here to help. Shoutout to Darrell on the third floor in home/bedding - he helped me several times while pregnant and knows that floor inside out! I also want to thank customer service on the first floor for extending me a courtesy gift certificate ($25) after I bought a dress for a wedding last week, and the day of I went to put it on, and found a security tag on the sleeve - an hour and a half before the wedding! That was a nice gesture.

I am having the worst experience with furniture delivery and being lied too and before i go online and post I will try this way first. my wife and I have bought over 10,000.00 dollars of furniture for our new home and have been told delivery last week canceled because they were sick, re-scheduled for yesterday and the lies just kept coming, we received text messages and multiple calls and waited for 7 hours on promises of delivery and never showed. we called back today and now being told we have to wait 2 more weeks before they deliver if this is the way Macys treats their customers this is wrong. I will post on social media and let people know about Macys practices. my wife has worked for your company for 13 years and we have never been treated like this, it's a shame we are going through this. now we are being told its going to be another 2 months until mid-December before we get our bedroom set. i am tired of being lied too and not kept up to date from them about problems. STAY AWAY from furniture buying. i am not waiting 4 months by the time this is over, also sent Corp and email too and no response.

I hate to diss one of the last remaining department stores in Lexington, and this is more a diss of Macy's the company because the company has not responded to my query. I purchased a beautifully soft 100% tencel shirt at the Lexington Macy's, but bought a large because they were out of mediums. I found the same shirt, exactly the same described at Macy's online, available in Medium so I ordered it in Medium. When it arrived it was clearly inferior, not soft, and when I checked the label it was only 35% tencel. The brand is Calvin Klein, which funnily, the same thing happened to me during the pandemic when I ordered my favorite CK sweatpants online that I had purchased at the store previously to wear during the pandemic. The sweatpants that arrived were clearly inferior to the ones I purchased at the store, but at the time I thought maybe I had just ordered the wrong kind. Since it was the pandemic, I never returned them but sent them straight to Goodwill. In any case, that discrepancy was more noticeable after the second discrepancy between the quality of an in-store purchase and online Macy's, same brand. Something fishy is going on and Macy's did not reply to my question as to what. Hence, thanks, Yelp for the opportunity to warn others.

They have a pretty wide selection of merchandise. Unfortunately, it's always on the floor. This is one of the messiest department stores I've been to. It was never this way when it was Lazarus. And it just gets worse with each level you go up. Housewares is abysmal. The staff/associates aren't particularly helpful and even when they do help, it's at a snails pace. Still, the selection is pretty good and it is bright and easy to maneuver around. And I don't know why it bothers me so much, but the broken floor tiles really look ghetto and unappealing. I wish Lexington had more retail options.

ZERO, ZILCH, Nonexistent customer service! They could absolutely careless. Went in to buy furniture and could not get anyone to help, they were to busy trying to go on break or coming off of their break. Huge waste of time. Called to speak to manager, man was rude, indignant and apparently insulted I wanted to speak with manager.

Attractive and comfortable show room. Helpful sales staff, but beware the significant hidden delivery charges not disclosed until purchase. (Up to $261) The sales tag has no mention of mandatory delivery charges (We were prepared to pick up the item at the store ourselves) The web site does not mention mandatory delivery charge, in fact, has a banner at the top of the page indicating free delivery on purchases over $75.00 (See attached images) If a charge is a mandatory/no exceptions then it should be disclosed with a note on the price tag. This is clearly disembling on the part of those publishing the prices. The sale would have been lost had it not been for sales staff doing what they could to address the issue.
