Ordered online and picked up in store. Box was heavily damaged. Store associates insisted product was fine that damage to box was from delivery. They opened box partially it and said unit was fine. I got product home, opened box and saw dented/bent mishapen parts with tape on it indicate damage. Didn’t take out of box - now returning. Wasted time, money for the store employees to mislead me and the store to sell damaged/broken items. I am extremely unhappy.

One thing I love most of all about Lowe’s is the staff and customer service. It’s so easy to find someone to help you. Also, the staff is very knowledgeable and can help you out with your next project. I’ve been coming here for years and really enjoy it.

Don't waste your time, shop local.
Flooring installation services will have you go through 20 different sub-contractors and call centers to get anything done and they all provide different information.
I was told in-store that I would not have to move furniture. I was told by the sales person that delivered the quote that I would not have to move furniture and that the floors would be done within a matter of hours. These were lies.
I did remove large items, loose items and items from the closets. I was told by phone, the day before the floors were meant to be done, that I would need to remove “Personal Items”. I mentioned the things I had moved and it seemed sufficient.
I had left a shelf and dressers. When the installers came, they said everything had to be out and everything had to be off of the walls. They immediately suggested rescheduling, keep in mind, this was on a Friday. I moved the remaining items out of the rooms. They then found subfloor boards under the carpet that had some movement. Now they say, we can’t do this floor at all and that I should replace my subfloor, a $2,500 job.
The contractor that installed the same type of floor in other rooms of the house over 4 years ago, including the hallway adjacent to the rooms in question, came to evaluate the situation. He said the floor should not have been a problem but that we could brace the spots mentioned. We did that. The subfloor is screwed into braces, screwed into joists and connected directly to the support beams of the house. The subfloor in these two rooms was not able to move anymore than the rest of the house.
This was the consensus of 3 separate flooring professionals that inspected the subfloor:
No subfloor is perfectly level, but any signs of unevenness or high or low spots had been remedied. Subfloor unevenness was not greater than 3/16 of an inch over a 10-foot span or 1/8 inch over a 6-foot span.
Meanwhile, the installers sent by Lowe’s never brought out a level or spirit bar. They seemed more concerned about finding a way to decline the project.
I rescheduled the flooring installation and spent another day out of work, in order to get this completed and get my house back together. The installers immediately voiced their doubts about the subfloor. We all walked around on it. There was no extraneous movement in the subfloor. They made a call and told me they would not be installing the flooring. I then received a call from customer service, I explained that I had been misled, inconvenienced and that I have lost money in this overly complicated process that I only agreed to because it was supposed to make things less complicated for me. She seemed to be understanding and told me that I would receive a “Full Refund”.
I then received a partial refund.
I missed 3 days of work directly to dealing with the flooring project. My company lost money on my time away. I have since missed additional time and money because after the stress of having his home turned upside down for all this time my dog passed away just 2 months after signing the contract.
I was led to believe this project would’ve been done in a few hours. I was misinformed about some things and completely lied to about others. The only reason that I agreed to this project was to make things easier on my family. This has been far more difficult. Lowe's never completed the project. I have lost my old friend, 3 days of income, and nearly $2K in vet bills.
In the planning of this project people saying they worked for Lowe’s would not stop calling me. Now I can’t get a response. I keep getting directed to “Customer Care” but no one seems to know what that means.
Mari Osborne, Specialty ASM, did finally email just to say someone would follow up. But no one has.

I went into the Lowe's in Lexington and tried to give them $1,000 and couldn't get anyone to take it. I was attempting to buy a new grill and was left standing at the service desk and. The person that was helping me said he was going to get my grill and I waited 40 minutes on him and he never returned and no one at the service desk including the manager attempted to help me. Even the manager asked me how I was doing and when I attempted to talk to her, she walked away to help someone else. I also had my little boy with me and he was getting tired of sitting in the cart. I just don't understand why it is so difficult to get any sort of assistance, especially when you are attempting to buy a large item from them. Very disappointed and will take my $1,000 and go elsewhere.

In my experience with shopping at Lowes stores, this is a very good example of what a home improvement store should look like. The store is very clean with a great selection and inventory. I prefer Lowes over Home Depot in many ways, such as the feel of the store and the lighting. It feels a lot less Spartan. I would have given it five stars if it weren't for the location. This store is in a tough spot to get into and out of.

I placed an order online with about 40 pieces of lumber it was about to rain so I pulled on the awning to load everything. When I picked up the order, they informed me it was in an outside locker not under the awning so I had to load everything and the absolute pouring rain. Why would you not keep lumber where it can stay dry, never will I ever return to this Lowe’s.

I want to give a shout out to Brittany, Jennifer, Jacob! They set the gold standard for how Lowe’s employees should be. I had an issue with my order that took about an hour to fix. They were patient in explaining how they are resolving the issue and kept me updated. Also, they showed genuine interest in helping me and made me feel like a valued customer.
