The lady’s coworker is so nice. She will look through every type of hair to find the exact color you want, she’s very talkative and will have a conversation with you throughout her doing your hair, she makes sure your comfortable and asks if you need anything. I scheduled an appointment for 12:30pm and she was not there when I arrived. I had to wait 20 mins after my scheduled time just to be told I had to wait until 1:45. Please be careful where you get your hair done, I’ve never experienced something so unprofessional.

***********READ THIS BEFORE GOING TO THIS PLACE!!*****************CUTOMER SERVICEI have never been to a hair braiding salon with this terrible service. I am a graduate student studying in the area and needed someone to braid my hair for some months. I reached out to the owner, who gave me a price, and then the assistant hated the price the owner gave, and therefore the assistant transferred her anger towards my hair. 3-4 times!! the lady braiding my STOPPED braiding my hair to talk on the phone, and was mad at me for asking QUESTIONS! I felt VERY exploited of my money from this place and deeply regret going there.ACTUAL BRAIDSThe braids are the worst braid job I have ever gotten done, Yes I wanted larger braids, but it was done very shabbily. The braids are not neat, the ends were not braided neatly and the hair pics I have posted are from2-DAYS!! after getting the hair done. The hair is so terrible that I have to wear it in a ponytail to hide the badly done ends.HOSTILE ENVIRONMENTFrom the moment I met the lady's assistant she was very rude to me. She came in and sat down to talk to her friends on the phone before starting my hair. She then proceeded to make a scene to her boss complaining in a different language assuming i did not understand, which I did. She stated that by my asking questions I was threatening her integrity as a professional. I always ask my braiders Qs and a true professional would not be mad at this, but rather ans this professionally. But what shocked me was that the owner did not ONCE defend me, but just walked away. I have nerve felt so disrespected.There are better places in Lexington KY and better braiders to get your hair done by, so please don't waste your time going here. I went because of the good reviews, but wish I didn't.

I was a little early to my appointment which was at 9am and it was a little after 2pm when Ms. Lindy was done braiding my hair. I absolutely love my braids and will be back to her.
