This is one of those stores you need to go to regularly, especially if you are looking for household and remodeling items at very reasonable prices. Kitchen and bathroom cabinets, fixtures, light fixtures, furniture for staging, you just never know what you are going to find! I make a point to visit this store every time we are on the south side of Lexington! Used does not mean used up. I love to upcycle and put new life into gently used items. I recommend you check them out!

So employees are extremely rude if you say thank you they just look at you. 15 minutes til close they turn all the lights out in line you up like cattle. Watch people set stuff down in walk out. Big guy standing over everyone made even me nervous.

They have pretty neat stuff most of the time. The 3 stars are for two of the workers that were there May 12th around 12-1pm. A tall white skinny guy with a mask on, who was very rude when trying to ask his about the price of something, he didn't want to be bothered. And a casher (older loud lady) who was rude to my mother while asking a simple question. We all have bad days but if your attitude is nasty towards people u have no right serving them. On a good note the other cashier (lady with shorter hair in pony tail) was very kind and made my mother feel better about the 2 rude workers.

Great assortment of Vintage and Antique furniture and books , found a beautiful chandelier there , and aFederal period dresser . Customer service was outstanding and plenty of carts and bags or boxes to place items in for careful transport :) was very pleased and will be a regular weekly visitor now . And the fact of their mission and purpose makes the purchases even better

They have a great Used books area with CDs DVDs and Vinyl Disks as well. The books are organized by category and generally by author.

The last two times I've drove there from Nicholasville they wouldn't take all my items. My items was not junk. I won't be driving up there to donate anything else. On top of that they're just open to receive donations a few days a week .

Exceptional customer service from an outstanding staff. I live in Northern Kentucky but make regular trips to the Lexington area and when I do I make it a point to save time and money for a visit to this location. There is always a wide array of products available at a decent price. But more importantly it's the exceptional customer service that brings me back time and time again. There is a manager (?) named Bobby who this business should be proud to have on their team, he is understanding, knowledgeable and patient, a great representation of the work done by Habitat.
