As a prescriber, it is wonderful to be able to call these knowledgeable pharmacists and technicians and get exactly what is needed for my patients! There are not a lot of compounding pharmacies left and the support is invaluable! What a wonderful group of caregivers!!! Highly recommend!

Absolutely horrible experience. We had all of the insurance approvals for a medication. The medication could not be mailed to us since it was a narcotic. We drove over 5 hours from our new residence to get said medication. They then told us, no it is not covered by insurance and wouldn't let us have Rx. Insurance company called numerous times, faxed over approval numerous times. They then told us they would need to speak directly with Dr to make sure that we really needed the medication. Had a leg amputated, I think we really need the medication. If Dr initially prescribed and insurance had approved coverage, who do they think they are to tell us we don't need the medication. Will be reporting to the appropriate agencies

Until my Doctor sent me to Lexington Compounding Pharmacy, I had nothing but trouble getting a reliable source of medication for my migraines. There was always some issue with insurance or the pharmacy getting the meds in.Now, I phone in my refill at 930am...the same day.....by 500pm the package is on the porch.I live TWO HOURS Away from Lexington so I presume FedEx is delivering....all that hub-bub for me.Im grateful for your help.

Kind and Friendly staff over the phone, willing to answer any question you have about your prescriptions. Hopefully I can get all of my prescriptions through this pharmacy.

I was contacted on a Thursday regarding my prescription. I was told I would receive it by Saturday or Monday. It’s Wednesday, and still nothing has arrived. Called about it and Bree was a bit snarky when I voiced my frustration. So now, who knows when it will arrive. Definitely will NOT use this pharmacy again. Bree needs to control her snarkiness when wishing me a good day. I know she didn’t mean it.

Sometimes they're friendly and helpful and sometimes they are just too busy. A huge downside is their hours of operation, which is inconvenient for many of us working 8-5 ourselves. To use their mailing services, you really have to plan ahead. I ordered on Monday and got my script on Saturday. I switched back to Wheeler's for the time being because they are open longer.

On my first prescription, it wasn't covered by insurance and they offered to try to get my dr to change things so it was or get a pre-authorization from my insurance. The pharmacy has always been great with calling to see if I need a refill. Great local business!
