“I mean, who reviews a laundromat! I did because the place was manned, clean, and well lit. Small parking lot, but there may be parking in the back I am unaware of, but people were coming and going through the back door. We’ve been on the road eight days and needed to do some laundry.
You use cash or credit card to obtain a “laundry card” that is used to start the washers and dryers. Estimate low when you load the card as you cannot get cash back for any balance on the card, but you can add more to the card.
The young woman (Angel) on duty, was working her fingers to the bone, cleaning the machines, cleaning the filter screens, checking the bathrooms, and doing laundry for those that pay for that service. I hope her boss recognizes her hard work and compensates her accordingly. She’s a keeper.”

I spoke with Bridget, who helped me throughout the drop off and pick up process. She was incredibly kind and friendly. Pick up was easy and all the clothing was folded nicely and with care. I visited at a very busy time and all the employees were very helpful in helping me find a washer and letting me know which ones to avoid that were being fixed! When there were finished loads unattended, they even helped unload them and find the owner so people could get their loads done quickly! This is no laundromat where theres one person hiding behind a desk that makes you figure everything out on your own, they value their customers! Very pleasurable experience!”
“Ive been coming here for a while now every week.New owner all new equipment and remodeled store. I think Ive had one machine problem in that time. Called the number on the wall and the employee came over and refunded my money. La Unica on the back side is my fav place in Lex to get a burrito while the clothes are washing. Yeah the neighborhood is not the greatest but Ive never had a problem.”

“I come early so it's never too busy, particularly clean to not have an on staff worker. I use quarters and would never use my debit cards in places that aren't attended during regular business hours. Machines are nice, clean and operate very well. There are sometimes sketchy characters, but nobody is ever really a bother. They also have free WiFi, which is a plus. The BP will also buy back any leftover quarters you may have. It's close to many stores and restaurants as well. Between washing, drying and folding clothes I normally don't spend more than two hours here.”

“I came to Surfside Coin Laundry while a part for my washer is on order. I have used Surfside in the past about 10 years ago under similar circumstances. I dropped off my laundry yesterday afternoon and picked it up this morning. Both attendants were polite and pleasant and my laundry, clothes and towels, look amazing and were folded and hung to perfection! Thank you Surfside for such terrific service!”
