Worst Kroger in Lexington. Never have fresh vegetables in stock. Always many things missing throughout the store. The meat department is a joke!! They package the biggest chicken breasts they can. Only Kroger in Lexington you can’t find a pack of chicken under $20. They do this to force the customer to pay more. Most people will pay the higher prices so they don’t have to go to another store. They do this with several selections of their meat. Baggers constantly bag the meat and produce together. Or cans with bread. This location needs better management. Starting from the top.

Amateur night. This place will rip you off.
After shopping the meager inventory here, you will get home to discover that you have purchased damaged/rotten and expired groceries or groceries that have been compromised in some way. This place is brazenly bursting with faulty product that can in some cases effect your health.
Furthermore, you will not pay the advertised sale price for these compromised products because they will ring up at the register as being not on sale.

Went to this Kroger around 10AM. Vegetable shelf was mostly empty. Pallets were everywhere. The self check out lady was busy chatting with another employee while we waited for her help. On the parking lot, a white old racist driving a black pickup (plate number xxxANT) ranted racist words towards my family. What a memorable day that is July 4th 2024.

This Kroger may be a little bit smaller but still has everything I could ever need. I'm not having to walk a football field to find something plus I've gotten the to know some of the more friendly people who work there

Y'all gotta start putting the baskets by the door again... Idk what it is, this is the only Kroger location that never puts baskets out. Every. Single. Time.

After seeing their most recently posted review about shopping here, I know this post is necessary. This is my favorite Kroger in Lexington. Been coming here for at least 10 years and I felt profiled at the self checkout. First let me say, Kroger as a WHOLE has major issues with their self checkout software. The slightest movement delays the machine and is frustrating to say the least (especially since I never have this issue at any other grocery or department store's self checkout). On this particular day, I was having trouble with getting the bags to open properly. I heard the machine announce "please make sure you scan all items" many times. When it came time to pay, the machine required "assistance" before I could pay, which I unfortunately expected. The assistance in question was a review of the number of items, which Ive seen before, but this time, a video replayed of me moving a small piece of produce back and forth over the scanner. The attendant stood and watched the video multiple times and then gave me a condescending look as if I needed to explain why I did this. I ignored this passive aggressive look because I knew I had done nothing, the item count was correct with the number of groceries in my bags, and the attendant never directly questioned anything. But it was embarrassing and made me feel very uncomfortable. There are far more effective ways to handle theft at the self checkout than doing this to loyal customers. If this happens again, I will address this concern directly with the attendant or member of management on duty so he/she is held accountable. Ive seen the video replays happen with other customers over the years and can say without a doubt that this is NOT how those checks are handled with EVERY customer. Very alarming.

Hi guys!Don' forget to check your receipt before you leave the store. The sale price tags are misleading. The price tag on the items are different that you pay at the register. I have been returning a lot a stuff lately. White Kroger onions, the price tag is 2.49 you pay 3.99 at the register. Natural Valley snack bars price tag is 1.99 you pay 2.99 at the register. Just wanted to let you know.Stay safe!
