I was finally able to come into John’s Run/Walk Shop in Palomar for an upcoming trip to New York! The team helped me look at my walking/stride and find the best fit for me, which happened to be a pair of Brooks! Looking forward to coming back for my next pair!

I’ve been shopping at John’s Run Walk for years. Their personalized service and attention to their customers’ needs along with their excellent inventory of shoes make this locally owned store outstanding.

What else can I say besides: support your local running shop! They’re great and helpful and all that. Sometimes the staff will have differing opinions about what you need, which can be funny, but that just means you need to advocate for what works best for you. I’ve never regretted supporting John’s.

I live in Richmond, Ky and when I am ready to buy shoes I drive all the way to John’s at Palomar. Why you may ask? Cause, 1st they carry all of the top quality brands and 2nd because they have the personal care, knowledge and help that I am looking for. You go in and you’re greeted with a friendly smile and knowledgeable people that help you right away. I usually go in once every 12-18 months and pick-up one or two pairs. Even if they don’t have the exact style I am looking for. They will order what I want and they don’t even charge me til they come in and I am satisfied with the product. Now that’s what I call real personalized service!! I won’t buy walking or running shoes any where else but here!! You guys are AWESOME ?!! Thank you for all you do!!!

Love my new running shoes the staff helped me find! I explained what I was looking for and they measured my foot and had me walk then brought me a wide range of options to try. I've never tried in asics before so I am very glad they suggested because they are awesome!
