Hotel needs some serious management revamping. Locking guests out of their room before checkout at 11am. Not honoring what they said is ok- 2pm checkout for Hyatt members. Location is great, hotel is relatively updated. If you have a choice, choose elsewhere in the area.

The hotel is a little dated but everything else was amazing. Great staff, breakfast, and the location is wonderful. Loved the dog park and trails nearby!

Excellent place to stay, solid hot breakfast and coffee, easy check in and out. Rooms are nice, clean, and roomy enough.

Read a bunch of reviews that sounded good. Not impressed. Room was dated and weird layout. Breakfast was just OK. Nothing special. Bagels with no cream cheese. Pool was nice and warm but small. With all the options in the area this hotel needs to step up.

I’ve been staying at this hotel the last few months for work and Sammi and Bethany at the front desk have been excellent!! They both are always extremely accommodating and always handle things as swiftly as possible! They truly are THE BEST! ?

When we checked in we were told room service was every other day. On our third day when we arrived back to our room at 2:30 pm our room was not clean. No clean towels, no clean glasses and dirty sheets.I went to the front desk and different man told me service is apon request. The employees don't have a clue of house policy. I informed the clerk I needed towels. They never came and we had to take them of a cart in order to bathe for dinner.Bad service, Bad polices.Taking care of their guests is not what Hyatt Place, Lexington Ky cares about.

Background: born and raised in Iowa. Served in military and been around the world. Now a husband of over 15 years and dad of 5 kids (4 girls 1 boy who has autistim). We have recently started traveling as my career and life allow and it should be noted my wife pretty much books everything. I’m pretty cheap, have lifelong Celiacs and I stereotype.—get over it. Here is my review:Staff was slow, but helpful. The breakfast was 100% gluten free—even the potatoes and bacon! I was surprised by this. You just need to ask questions there—I’m. It saying all of them are, even though the food is the same for breakfast. Our room was missing a blanket for the pullout but they got it to me. The bathroom door opening in these 2 queen rooms are a problem. They open outward in front of the sink and it can get your toes.We do seek this chain out due to its larger-family friendliness. Large luggage carts.

We have stayed at this hotel in the past and it was definitely a 4 star, however we were disappointed on this visit. The location is good, right off of the Interstate and lots of restaurants close by. The hotel's standards were not the same as previously. I'll start with the room. The room we were given was 623. After unpacking and deciding to rest after a long drive we were shocked at the loud noice and vibration from the roof above us. It was impossible to sleep. Every time the condensers would turn on the whole room would vibrate. I called the front desk and was told the air conditioner units were directly above us. They did respond that they could put us in another room because there were plenty of rooms available. They were nice enough to delivery the keys to a new room to us and when I commented on the noice the staff person commented that they do get lots of complaints about the room. I was surprised that knowing they get lots of complaints and that they have plenty of other rooms available why they even put us in that room to begin with. It would seem that would be a last option if the hotel was full. We did (after having to pack everything up again) move to a new room. The room was comfortable and quiet however I would give the cleanliness (especially the bathroom) a 3. The floor was not that clean and there was dirt in the corners. Breakfast in the morning was disappointing. There were not many hot breakfast options and what they had was not quality. Taking all this into consideration, the next time I travel through Lexington I will search out other hotel options.

Towels Need to be replaced, I went to the cart where housekeeping was in one of the rooms and asked for another set of towels, was given Dingy and ragged towels. The bar service was Great but the Beer had one day left of the Best before date. The restaurant was under staffed we waited for over an hour to be seated and decided to go somewhere else. Next night we tried again to eat at the restaurant and sat at the bar to eat, NO steaks, No hamburgers, No chicken wings, they had very little food to serve except Chicken tenders, potatoes wedges or Mozzarella sticks, whom ever is in charge of ordering the food needs to order more. We were serviced what ever was in the bottom of the freezer. What or Who ever is working on the roof --- 6am to start grinding (even on Sunday) is not acceptable.

I almost always stay at Hyatt, and I usually really like their Hyatt Place brand as a comfortable place to stay at a reasonable price. This hotel, however, was understaffed with just one person so she was never at the front desk. I'm an early riser and I like my coffee in the morning. One of the pouches in the room was open, which left me with one tiny cup. Usually I'd pop downstairs to get some from the carafe in the lobby, but they don't have that here. I had to call 0 to find the lady working. It's not her fault (she was very nice). There was trash on the floor in the dining area that I'm sure she didn't have time to even see let alone clean up. Three other issues, Chromecast in the room isn't available here except in a few rooms, the water pressure was awful, and there was little food available at the snack bar. I ended up getting uber eats delivery instead.

Great breakfast at this hotel. Bethany at the front desk is great at solving problems and made my visit there amazing. Huge rooms. I could definitely stay there long term with all the amenities. A great gym and pool also all for a reasonable price. Book early they fill up.

I’ve stayed at Hyatt place before at different locations, the one in Irvine Ca. Is very nice, the room that I got was on the third floor room 316, it smelled old, sour, the carpet appeared dirty, but it looked like they tried to clean it. I just didn’t feel very comfortable in the room, I guess you could call me a hotel snob, the lady at the front desk was very nice black woman name Shana, or shawna, she was extremely nice and friendly she had that southern hospitality. There was another black woman that was not friendly at at never spoke or acknowledged me, I’m an African American myself no shade, the fan in the bathroom was loud and their toilets are low budget, you have to flush slow. The shower didn’t get that hot.I will not be returning, overall hotel is a bit dated, but if you just need a place to stay go for it. The breakfast was just ok bacon was good, waffles looked like ego’s, the coffee was good, sausage was ok, eggs was fake watery, not a fan, they did have apples and yogurt, the fresh fruit pineapples and melon looked really old, my son did not eat the breakfast, we went somewhere else! Oh and the hotel is near the freeway, from my room, I heard traffic from the freeway, that also prevent me from getting a good night rest.
