Had an appointment for 10am with our usual tax expert. The appointment was confirmed with a text message a few weeks before, from HR Block. Also received a phone call from our tax expert reminding us of the appt. We arrived 30 minutes early and when we walked in we learned are tax expert no longer worked at this office. No mention of the office move when our tax expert called to remind us of the appt. So we made a mad dash to the office she was currently working at (25 minutes away). When we arrived at that office they could not find our appointment and our usual tax expert was not there.They did let us work with an on scene tax expert and our taxes were completed.Seems that making an appointment a year ahead is not a great idea given their text message system will give you the wrong information.
