Absolutely loved my stay here. The front desk staff are beyond kind and welcoming. The room was very clean and not a spec of dust anywhere. Bathroom was clean and neat. Overall a very clean place to stay, price was amazing and the atmosphere topped it off. The little bar and dining area was very cute as well. Lots of parking which I liked. You’re around so many good food spots and things to do. I definitely recommend going to Churchill Downs as it’s maybe an hour away from the hotel. So historic and beautiful.

I do not feel this place is pet friendly. I have a service dog due to nerve damage on the bottom of both feet. She helps me with falling. I have her government issued photo ID with both mine and her names on it, shot records, etc... When I first checked in, we had traveled from Gulf Shores, Alabama, a good 12 hour drive. She had never been in the car for that long so she was nervous when we arrived. I was tired, my feet hurt. The lady at the front desk was not friendly. I did not have my glasses on she handed a piece of paper to sign. I stated I didn't have my glasses. All she said was it was a paper concerning my service animal. I asked if she needed to see documentation, and she said whatever was on that paper, knowing I didn't have my glasses and couldn't see it, so I just went on. Still don't know what the paper said. We got to our room. My dog and I had a good bath. we passed out around 3 pm and I woke up somewhere around 230 am. She had to go out in a hurry. We made it, but as we got outside, I turned around to notice the lady from the desk (was a different lady from earlier) outside watching me. My dog was no trouble. She did not bark, disturb anyone, or anything. She is a very good, well trained dog. We are diamond elite members. My husband is in an IHG motel more than he is at home, and we have never had such behavior from staff. He has traveled to more countries than I ever knew existed. He works on aircraft and goes where the plane goes. I will not be back to visit this hotel. I feel I have been judged due to the way I look. Let me explain. I have dentures and thyroid issues, so by the time I made a 12 hr trip in the car, they were hurting my mouth, so I took them out. I was wearing comfortable travel clothes, and by the time the lady made me walk out to my vehicle 2 times in 91 degree temp with my nervous dog, I was sweating because my thyroid medicine makes me sensitive to the heat as well as having nerve damage on bottom of both feet I was done for the day so by the time we got to the room got cooled off showered and cleaned I couldn't do nothing more. We went to sleep. By the time she woke up in a hurry at 230 am, I rushed out the door with her in my night clothes and without my dentures. This place feels judgemental and definitely not animal friendly. You should never judge a book by its cover. I'm not a flashy look at me kind of person. Every hair doesn't have to be in place. I prefer comfort to uncomfort. I have helped many people throughout my life. I don't judge. My husband makes 200,000.00 a year. Just because I do not flash it, I do not think I'm better than, and I prefer to help others rather than be selfish and spend it on myself does not mean I don't have the money or means to belong. So I was either being judged and treated like I didn't belong or that I was trouble or something or they had an issue with my service dog. Either way, this hotel should be ashamed at how those 2 front desk ladies acted.

Amazing hotel and staff. Shoutout to Alison, the General Manager. What an amazing person who really made us feel right at home. From check-in to serving/talking to us at the bar while we had a delicious couple of night caps. Her and her staff deserve more than 5 stars!

This was a quick stop on a business trip. Front desk was very helpful and courteous. Room was clean and comfortable. Neat breakfast restaurant in the lobby.

This hotel is completely understaffed. I had to wait for 30 min just to check in because they only had one person at the front desk with no help. The room did not have a hair dryer, was only cleaned half the time, and the front desk would not answer the phone. I booked with them directly and they changed the price at checkout. There wasn’t a manager (or any help) for the person running the desk. Definitely not worth the $$.

The manager here is amazing the rooms are wonderful and clean! Lots of places to see and shop as well as food choices! I will definitely return.
Rooms: The rooms were alot bigger than I expected and very clean! They also smell amazing..
Safety: Super clean parking lot very well lit and populated so i felt safe
Food and drinks: They offer a restaurant style breakfast that had alot of good food to choose from. There are alot of other places you can go as well we ate at the waffle house just a block from the hotel it was great too.
