Staff was extremely rude and not helpful at all. This was my first time hearing that I can’t rent a car from airport unless I had a major credit card or flying out from airport(that was the first). Why not just put a deposit on debit card like everywhere else. Long story short me and my family was stranded at airport and they didn’t try to help at all.

If you arrive on a Sunday after a full day of travel and want a vehicle lease - IF counter person is named Kristen - leave. She will not greet you, she will not introduce herself or even make eye contact. Robotically she will ask same questions of any renter whether pre checked in or are a Gold member. She has NO PEOPLE SKILLS, will not try to solve any problems you may have with process but she will point you to read the posted policies. DO NOT ask a question that takes her out of her 2-5 step process. Any questions -Kristen will tell the customer “has attitude.” Run if you Discover Kristen is at counter. Worst experience I’ve had in 40 years of travel at many airports.

Had an extremely smooth process renting a car for my army drill weekend. The young lady at the counter was really efficient when we landed for a late night flight, and I’m happy I got to book last minute (as I’d considered Ubering around). The price was cheaper than what my Ubers around Lexington and to Frankfort would have been. Definitely will be going back to Hertz, good prices, good customer service and convenient hours. Drop off was just as smooth.

The line here is always 10+ deep with only one person working the counter, usual wait to pick up/drop off is 30+ minutes EVERY SINGLE DAY. It's ridiculous that Hertz leadership does not care enough for their customers that they would keep enough staff that they could service their clients in a reasonable amount of time. The 5 other rental companies at Bluegrass Airport rarely have a line more than 2 or 3 people but they also have their counters properly staffed. Do NOT rent from HERTZ or Dollar Rent a car if your time is important when traveling.

I was concerned after reading reviews but had a great experience. My flight landed after midnight. I called in advance to make sure I would be able to pick up my reserved car after hours. I had no issues picking up my car upon arrival even though my flight was even slightly delayed.Not sure why everyone else is having issues but for me it was like any other quick and simple car rental experience.

Very friendly, generally good experience renting cars with Hertz but here, being a much smaller place, they have very good customer service. On one occasion I didn't reserve in time and it was Kentucky Derby week, and I couldn't find a car anywhere. Take your precaution!
