I love Grassroots Pharmacy! Support an independent pharmacy! They offer nice little gifts there too, and an option to carry out a snack, like a salad or a smoothie. I've always been treated well. Their staff is very professional. I use them mainly for vaccinations. Although I haven't used them for my medications, their pamphlet states that they have curbside service and delivery! Support your local businesses!

Shady owners!!! Won’t give 90 day medicine supplies. Claim that they can’t and it’s an insurance issue. Turns out that it’s because they lose money!!!! They don’t disclose this to the customer. They were only giving a one month supply that cost me the same as a 90 day supply at other pharmacies!!Response to Owner: Small pharmacies are successful when they have honesty and integrity! The point is that it was not just done to me but to others that I know that use this pharmacy! You are willingly doing this to multiple customers WITHOUT ever telling the customer that they would get a better deal elsewhere and explaining that it hurts your business to fill these prescriptions.Offering a solution after you have been withholding that the customer can get a better deal elsewhere for months is NOT having the customer’s best interest.The pharmacist LIED to me and others that I know and claimed it was an insurance issue when they knew that it was because they lose money. Be honest and upfront and you will have satisfied customers.

I flew from Las Vegas, NV to Louisville, KY and then drove to the nearest source of pepperoni rolls an hour and a half away to get there when they opened at 10. Was not disappointed in the slightest-- the staff very graciously informed me that they would make a fresh batch for me. I also got introduced to Ale8 which needs to be sold in stores closer to me.Special thank you to Cassie for recommending the Arboretum at UK while we waited; we'll remember this store as the highlight of our trip!

Testing positive for Covid is no fun that too when you're visiting from another country but Ashif and his team at Grassroots helped us get through it quite painlessly. They were a very caring and very professional team! Thank you!

Very weird vibe in this place. I don't feel comfortable getting my medication from here. Just a gut feeling, but it has never steered me wrong.

The smoothies here are so amazing!!! Just did the make your own smoothie bar and it was so fun filling up my cup with all that healthy goodness! They also have great gifts!

Absolutely terrible ownership and service. My vet prescribed Gabapentin for my dog. I called Grassroots Pharmacy, asked if it was something they filled for animals. They said they did. When I initially picked it up, it was not refrigerated. (This medication has to be refrigerated). I refused to accept it. The owner, Lindsey Roberts was there and said he would "check and see if it was still good so he could reuse it". I accepted and paid a new bottle that was refrigerated.I started reading about all of these xylitol poisonings in dogs, and that the human form of Gabapentin has Xylitol in it. I immediately called the pharmacy and asked if the kind I had had xylitol. I was told "NO, they know that dogs cannot have Xylitol and not to worry". About a week later I still did not have a good feeling and asked another local pharmacy to check if my bottle was safe for my dog. It in fact was NOT safe and had the deadly ingredient Xylitol in it. (They said were not surprised that this happened as they have heard other horror stories about Grassroots Pharmacy).When I called Grassroots pharmacy about this, Lindsey answered the phone, put me on hold forever and in fact did say that the product he gave me was poisonous for dogs. I explained I was frustrated because first , he tried to give me medicine that should have been refrigerated, then I called and was told the medication was safe. This medication could have killed my dog. He was RUDE, said I should have talked to him instead of an employee (pharmacist). He was unapologetic and took no responsibility. I asked for a refund that was never received. Stay away from this pharmacy. Not only are they incompetent, they are downright nasty.
