We all need to stop donating to Goodwill and boycott! They're all about profit! Donate to charities that actually care and help people! Goodwill is a ripoff!

Very incompetent management!

I agree that Goodwill has gotten ridiculously overpriced, no thanks to the popularization (and scalping practices) of thrifting, but Annie - that is a $1,000 graphics card, I think $800 is actually pretty reasonable for a new, unused GPU…

This Goodwill has gone absolutely stupid. Here is an item they got for free and are selling for $800! Forget about the fact that you can get it brand new for $400 at Best Buy. Whoever is doing their pricing needs to be fired and seriously investigated.
edit: reading someone else’s comment reminded me of the last time I went to give them a donation (which I no longer do due to bad staff and price gouging)- one of the kids working the donation line yelled at me to “get back in my car” when I got out to unload my stuff. He was obviously on a power trip. He shouldn’t be working with the public.

I really enjoy shopping here. You never know what you're going to find. I do wish they would reconsider some of their pricing, however. For instance, they charge the same price for a pair of jogging pants that they do for a pair of blue jeans. However, the staff are nice and you never know what you're going to find, so it's an adventure. Give it a shot and you might find something you like at a decent price.

Giving 2 stars for the poor customer service at the checkout. Most people here are nice but I will not be returning due to one bad apple in particular.

Goodwill at Mapleleaf has great employees. Very friendly and courteous when helping unload my drop offs.

The man at the donation drop off location, a thin-set white male in late 40s perhaps, is extremely rude and flippant to the customers. He had a long line so he must’ve been aggravated but that’s not an excuse to be rude to the customer. I pulled up under the carport, and when I got out the car to help unload he told me to pull up more. So I proceeded to get back in the car to pull up and he flippantly said “follow instructions woman” I pulled up five more feet. Then he actually walked away so I stayed in my car, not knowing exactly where he wanted me, so he stared at me without any direction so I asked, “do you want me to pull up more” and he replied, “your being sarcastic” “you can just leave”straight to my face. So when customers are being helpful and trying to follow procedure, this employee decides to berate them.

Goodwill-Maple Leaf Drive Lexington Kentucky. Two older male employees standing in the middle of the store talking so loud you can hear them across the room talking about how they hate their job and the manager. A woman employee pushed me into the rack as she went by to hang clothes. Manager no where to be found. Corporate office has no idea how floor employees behave and how the Manager does nothing about bad employee behavior. Goodwill items are donated and the manager makes it a nightmare to bring in returns by refusing refunds and acting like this is Saks Fifth Avenue. The money is NOT coming out of their pocket. Goodwill has lost sight of their mission. OVER CHARGING the poor is not why they are in business. It is an astonishment that Goodwill has forgotten the original mission. Very Sad!

First time in the store and Ted was very rude. I was going through a new rack. It being my first time and lots of goodwills being different, I didn’t know it wasn’t okay to. Instead of just saying please wait for the items to be put out, he sarcastically tried to ridicule me by saying I’m sure there’s other things you can look at in the store. Do better sir, be kind.

I've been a couple times when passing through town. Seems high priced and I've never found anything there other than run of mill stuff that didn't sell at yard sales.

Prices are getting too high, thought it was about helping the community.
