I like just hanging out there. I had lunch and bought a few groceries. Sandwich in the cafe was really good and I got some things that you can't get anywhere else.

Huge food co-op. Has almost everything. Way too cold in summer, not quite warm enough in winter. Dress appropriately. Has a food section. The sushi was okay.Update: they've gotten the note that it's way too cold in summer, it seems. Also the sushi has improved.

Best selection of organic veggies, free range, and grass fed/finished meats in town (well … along with the Lex farmers market). Both great spots if you seek health and inspiration when it comes to food while also supporting your local community. Vote with your dollars y’all. ?
Good Foods Co-op is a locally sourced grocery store in Lexington, KY. As a store we offer natural, organic and healthy options such as produce, wellness products, deli meats, specialty foods, bakery items, meat, seafood, and vegan and gluten-free products. Our Café and hot buffet has constantly changing choices so you can experience new meals. They are also a great way to connect with others right here in our community! We also have a variety of natural care products in addition to vitamins and supplements. Many of our products are locally sourced, providing freshness and support for the local community. Co-op membership comes with many benefits including discounts, rewards, curbside pickup and more, but is not required.
