Had the BEST experience with Molly! She was so helpful and super sweet! She picked out dresses that were out of my ideal dress style and one of the dresses she picked out I ended up falling in love with and went home with it! Next time you go ask for Molly!!

They don't have the new styles that are popular in store. I work in the performance industry, and I regularly purchase/rent tuxedos and accessories. They have raised their prices so high, it makes no sense for the inventory they have displayed. Everything is old and dated.

The trainee I saw training (Catherine, sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was absolutely awesome! So was the trainer! Went back a week later for final consultation to make sure all the info and sizing was right with Raegan (again sorry if I spelled your name wrong). The girls nailed it and were super fun to laugh and work with to make sure we had it all down to a T! They don’t miss a beat and make you feel welcome and at home as if they’re life long friends. I can’t wait to get my wedding suit in October! If you haven’t been there, tell them I sent ya!-Derek W!

Best place to buy a new suit in my opinion! Knowledgeable staff and a good selection, not all sizes in stock, but they will order and alter to fit. Friendly Staff and beautiful clean store. Some shoes and accessories available. They work with you on hard to fit issues... Great people to deal with.

They have been an absolute nightmare to communicate with. No answer, no call backs, poor quality customer care, wrong material provided to several in the wedding party, rude employees to my groomsmen. I went through them with my wedding and currently as a groomsmen for another wedding and have to physically go into the store for any straight forward answer. An absolute mess. However, the tux did fit well so 2 stars there.

I wanted to extend a HUGE thank you to your entire staff at Geno's! My son rented a tux from your company. Neither he nor I double checked the pockets before returning the tux. He left his wallet inside with a significant amount of cash. I'm not sure who turned the wallet in but your employee Cathy that I spoke with was AMAZING! She reached out to let us know they had his wallet and made sure it was shipped back safely. She called to make sure we received his wallet after she checked the tracking and it said it was delivered to our front porch. This restores my faith that there are still really good and honest people out there in this world! Thank you so much Cathy and Geno’s employees!!AND the tux looked amazing!

In early 2020, I gave a five-star rating on my family's experience with this place for my son's wedding. I meant every word I wrote. Sadly, however, our second experience with Geno's at Southland, was anything but five star. But I want to give an honest update review here because both of these experiences are genuine. 2020 we had a great experience but flash forward to this past week and ordering for our granddaughter's wedding -- uggg. Not good. My husband and I visited Geno's Formal Affair on Southland drive a week and a half before we needed a suit for him for the wedding. He was measured and we chose a blue suit and the lady said they had a matching blue tie so we went with that. We also chose shoes - the whole package. Our order cost more than 200.00. But we figured it worth it based on our previous positive experience. The day we ordered, we were told that we could come back the following Wednesday for a fitting so we would have time for alterations before the big day. Well, Wednesday came and we called but the suit hadn't come in. They told us it would be there Thursday. That was cutting it close for alterations because of my work schedule but we said okay. The store doesn't open until noon on weekdays so I had to go get my husband (who doesn't drive right now due to a leg injury) and bring him to the store for fitting and then take him back home and try to get back to my office by 1:00pm. Not an easy feat in traffic. Still, it had to be done, right? When we arrived, a lady came out of the store and informed us that the ones for his suit had still not arrived. She also said they had a "long" in the suit pants but that the "stride" would be about an inch or two longer. We were concerned about bunching or bagging as my husband is not a tall man. She said she had the answer to that - she said she had suspenders that would help the pants stay up higher on the waist a bit and the vest would cover that and so on. Reluctantly we agreed as there was nothing else to do at this point. Because the pants had not come in and we had not been informed, I had to take my husband back home and hurry to work empty handed, only to have to repeat the process again that day at 5pm when the lady said they would have the long pants in. Keep in mind that the store closes at six. Not much time to leave work, fight traffic, pick up husband at home, turn around and go all the way back to Geno's and then fight traffic back home again. But the lady assured us she would wait for us. My husband had his fitting. The pants, because they were "long" had been hemmed some seven inches and the bulk of material was evident as it bunched a bit at the lower area of his legs. Still, I tried to look over that. The extra stride inches seemed okay when hubby pulled the pants just a tad higher than normal and covered the "urkel" look with his vest and coat. His coat sleeves were too long and they hemmed those at that time. We got ready to leave and had our suit zippered into the travel bag when my husband said-- oh yeah, you said that you would include suspenders just in case I felt like the pants wouldn't stay up far enough with just the side adjustable clips. The lady said but I thought they were okay when you tried them on. Hubby said they seemed to be but when I move around they may not stay so it might be good to have to suspenders just in case. To which the woman said -- okay but I'll have to go ring those up. At which time, I lost it. I admit it. I did. I looked at the lady as if she had just grown a horn on top of her head and said "you have got to be kidding". We paid you 200 for a suit you can't deliver and then we agree to take a work around that you offered and you're going to charge us extra for your mistake of not being able to deliver what you promised? The lady seemed to think there was nothing wrong with her charging us extra. She argued with me. At that point it was not about the cost of suspenders. It was about taking time off

Absolutely loved it here! The woman who helped me, Carrie I think, still made me feel well attended to and special even while doing the same for several other girls and people throughout the store. There was a nice selection of prom dresses in my size (12-14). I would definitely recommend Geno’s!

I cannot say enough good things about this place or the high level of service we received. The entire staff was encouraging and helpful to every single person in the store. They offered to help zip, lace, pull other dresses, accessorize or do anything you needed to make the process easier. It was a true team environment and they all seemed to LOVE their jobs and each other. I highly recommend them and we will be back!! Thanks for the world class customer service.

Molly at the Southland location listened when I said "I don't want a cheap looking tuxedo, just something classic and durable". She pointed me in a great direction and gave plenty of valuable input on the accessories.
