I had a great experience here. There was lots of information from the gentleman who helped me, as well as being low pressure. Another employee was helping a couple that the woman did not have any experience and he was patiently showing every gun and also giving lots of information. It was very nice to see.
Two items I purchased/looked at purchasing were well over $100 more expensive at Cabela’s. Definitely would come back here hands down.

Zack had great customer service he gave great information about what I had in mind very swell individual hope everyone has an experience like I had with him he made sure I had a good experience and time while I was their I will definitely be shopping with Evans firearms & archery again!!

I've bought a lot of guns here over the years. But not anymore that big guy with the beard has not knowledge of gun at all when you ask him about something he just say I don't know. He's is on of the rudest, dumbest, person. I made my mind up I will not go back or buy a gun from them anymore until they get a new more knowledgeable staff. I sorry Jay I just can't put up with that guy's stupidly and his rudeness.

Went there this morning to buy a gun. The guy seemed so uninterested in helping me. Asked about a couple of used, new guns. Just not interested in helping me. Sad. Just walked out.

Small shop located a little off Nicholasville road. Service was super friendly from the moment we walked in. James is truly the nicest person you could ask for when getting kids started in an archery program. He is knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. We purchased two bows for our boys plus two sets of arrows and cases for both at a better price than I found on Amazon. Yay for supporting local business! One of our sons preferred a different color, so we returned to the store and they were friendly and helpful about exchanging the colors. We highly recommend James and Evans Archery for anyone involved in student archery programs. I would also believe the service would be similar if we were shopping for a firearm. They were great!
