February 2024 by Looking Out For The City ..
I usually get gas at the gas station of this Costco location at like 7:00 a.m. on Sundays because my parents gifted me a bunch of Shop cards. Today, I went and I waited in the parking lot closest to the gas station. When I arrived at a pump, I heard a friendly "Good morning!" and I turned to see a gal who then told me that I could jump the gun and help myself to a pump before 7 a.m. Really, I wait until 7 a.m. as courtesy for the associates to get everything ready. Weird how they are encouraging someone to come in earlier. If it were me setting these pumps up, I would try to do everything to make sure people can only enter at 7 a.m. There is a reason for this time. Nice to know though.

Seriously, Costco may become addictive, and this warehouse may be an enabler! It should not come as a surprise that not all Costco Warehouses are the same. Sure, most basic stock can be found anywhere, but this location is larger than the one that is 5 miles from where I live and as such carries additional products that make it worth the 65 mile drive from time to time. Pricing is uniform with the other warehouses I shop except for "clearance items" which at this location appears to be better and of which I took advantage of. I found this warehouse to be very clean and well lit with helpful employees when I needed help on a bustling pre holiday shop. The food court is a practically a universal model, so no surprises there and the wait was literally under a minute. No complaints at all with this location. I will gladly return!

Excellent location, conveniently located in Lexington. We love their food court! Hot dog combos, cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza and soft serve strawberry vanilla twist sundaes are our favorites! Excellent place to shop for clothes, home goods, electronics, furniture, food and just about anything that you would want!

No poblem with their products. I went there today and they didn't let our small dog to come in. We took him there several times but this tome the guy at the door ddin;t. At the same time a lady who had a small dog just like our wlaked in with no problem. They called the mangaer and said their policy changes depending on who the manager is. They will not let the dod who is emotional support to us to come in eventhough we offered to ho;d the the dog. While in the store I saw the lady with her dog. She was on the leash walking with her. Asked the guy at the door and he said not under his watch. I know as a mtter of fact the lady walked in while the guy was there. He sart being rude at the end. Such a shame that theie policy cahnges depending on who the manger is or who is at the door. I guess they guy didn't like us.

The people that love Costco are my people! We are lucky to live very close to Costco so we do a lot of shopping there. The store is impeccably clean, service is swift and always good! If anything is wrong they always take care of it professionally.

Love Costco. Gas prices at the Bardstown rd location are almost always 10 cents cheaper than the Brownsboro location.

Love Costco. The only negative thing I have to say is how lazy the people are, which are working in the self check out line in the Lexington, KY, Costco. I have been there several times over the last year and have noticed the self check out line employees, are very lazy are not helpful.

I joined principally for gas, but I must note that I've already had a better service experience than at the other membership clubs, having gotten a detailed introduction to encourage me to optimize my membership card. The store is full of bulk items and cheap brands as you might expect. I don't think I'd do a ton of food shopping here for my needs, but I was pleased to find some peppadews, among a few other useful items. The checkout experience was straightforward and even on a busy day I barely waited. The gas station had a bit of a line but it wasn't bad.On the downside, the road leading here is one of Lexington's many traffic snafus, and with a hospital being built next door, one can expect it to get worse rather than better. Their app is also not as functional as my Sam's Club app was. They are pretty limited in what payment options they accept. While there are plenty of things here that aren't the quality I would want or are in sizes I won't use, I think I'll get good use out of my membership.

Costco is one of my favorites - great variety of products, good prices and good quality. Only drawback is that on Saturday afternoon the lines are so long, but I guess everyone has a schedule like me.

Love this place. Every time we come we find some winners. This time it was Calumet 15, a bottle of Peerless Rye, a Stellum Bourbon and a Makers 46 Cask Strength. It was a steep bill but cheaper than ANYPLACE else. We took our finds to the car, went to the store and bought another $200 in items. We moved from a home that had a Costco five minutes away and now we have none within 2 hours so when we go we buy.
