it was amazing considering i was born and raised off Withroway and i use to go there with my family it's definitely a change and I'm all for itl especially with it not being much it seem in the area believe it or not there's lots more to it ?

Did not go inside the center, but the park area is great for children. Has a basketball court, a water feature, and great playground equipment. The park seems to be in a rejuvenated area and looks good. There are historical markers around the park about Charles Young, a son of an enslaved parents who was the third black man to graduate from Westpoint. Recently posthumously promoted to Brigadier General of the US Army. Well done Lexington.

It was nice. The upgrade to the park is nice and was long overdue. I grew up going to this park in the late 80's early 90's. So it was a fun and safe getaway for us children living in the East End. Was a bit disappointed the water part wasn't finished yet. And a bit disappointed that it's not one of those big splash pads. I'm pretty sure the families with children would have loved it bigger. Just my opinion.
