I just wanted to send this to extend my appreciation
My baby DJ was put to rest there and it was the worst day of my life, not only did I have to make the decision to put my baby down, but my best friend, my child, my heart
But you all made it so comforting to me, your caring hearts and empathy exceeded my expectations! You made the worst day of my life more bearable and I appreciate you all very much! You all are so kind, caring, knowledgeable, honest and I would recommend anyone to you for care

Daisy suffered a nasty cut on her back on a Sunday morning took her to BVS they took really good care of her we were in and out in about a hour and didn't charge a lot for a Sunday morning emergency give them a try u won't be disappointed

The staff was professional, caring and amazing. My dog was seriously injured and almost died. They saved him. I’m forever grateful for their service. Highly recommend them.

It is more economical and the peope there are nice
I have taken a number of my babies there
ALWAYS got excellent service
Yes they cost more than the typical vet
But well worth the extra cost
They will also call to check on their patients

I don’t know they wouldn’t do a damn thing for my dog because I couldn’t afford it because I’m poor so therefore I paid $600 to have my dog euthanized and cremated because they said there was nothing they could do for her

The Staff is super friendly and efficient. I got direct answers from Dr. Austin regarding my bulldog’s illness/syndrome and next steps to get him a better quality of life. My bulldog has been seeing the same primary vet for 3.5 years for similar symptoms without any answers. Just treatments of symptoms. I wish she could take on non-emergent patients and be his primary veterinarian going forward!

My experience with this business was EXCELLENT. We brought my elderly cat in, she was immediately taken back, and I was barely through the paperwork when the vet came to talk to us. My cat had passed away before they could do anything further, but the staff handled it very professionally and empathetically. We were taken back to a room and had as much time as we wanted with my cat, and they wrapped her up so sweetly in a blanket and pet bed, so it just looked like she was asleep. After that, we were given the options for cremation, which were explained in a lot of detail and very gently.
Overall, I'm very glad this is where we took Callie to be taken care of, even if she couldn't receive the full care they could provide. Thank you for treating my sweet girl like a part of our family.

I do not recommend this vet. Dr Gavin and the staff failed to communicate options for our sick cat after being diagnosed with Lymphoma and we just did not get the chance to ask questions we wanted and learned things about the course of treatment after the fact. This may result in extra expense and more visits for our kitty as well as potential delay in alternative treatments. Hope they work on their communication of outcomes with patients going forward.

Don't go unless there is no other alternative price gouging place 1k just for a boxer to be seen then wanted to charge and additional 4k for the procedure. I recommend calling any place but this

Took my cat here in the middle of the night for something minor (I’m paranoid after a loss earlier in the year), and they were nothing but kind, attentive, and understanding. My girl hates the vet with the fury of 1000 suns, but they were so sweet to her. It was a little pricey, but we go into owning pets knowing that.

This vet Tried charging me $5000 After changing the price two separate times, and wouldn't do anything until I paid a deposit for my dying dog. But the vet not even half a mile away (Eastland animal clinic ) offered to charge me $900 and took her immediately back to surgery as soon as we walked in, the new EMERGENCY vet we went to also had said the IV they inserted into my dog was big enough for a horse, my dog is a 30 pound boxer. I will never take my dog here again because they obviously do not care about the life of an animal and more about making a check.

Words aren't good enough to express my appreciation for everyone who works at this clinic! My son and I brought in our precious little girl April on Sunday September 1, 2024. The care she received was so wonderful. The doctors explained everything to us in a professional and personable way. I appreciate you all for the great care and love and understanding and sensitivity with which you took care of our little girl. She was the perfect dog for my entire family!! You helped us to make the horribly painful but necessary decision to make sure she didn't suffer. Thank you for ALL you did!! I very highly recommend this clinic to anyone who has a pet emergency!! They will treat your pet with love and care and give the best care possible in any situation!!

The first time I tried to bring one of our dogs here about 1.5 years ago, it was an AWFUL experience. They didn't have enough vets on staff and went from being a 24 hour emergency vet to a regular one (not what you want to find out at 3am). Fast forward to the other day when I brought our dog in after he got his nail caught on something and ripped it out. Everyone at Bluegrass was amazing. Super informative and friendly and they made our extremely anxious pup feel comfortable and so loved. They explained everything to me in great detail. Answered all questions and sent us on our way a couple of hours later. I'm hoping they continue to stay fully staffed and maintain the ER status, because their services are so needed. Thank you again!!
