Dave was a great guy and did my small job for a very reasonable price. Plus, just going there and getting to look at the awesome machinery is worth the drive over. If I was a multi-millionaire with a huge house shop, a section of my shop would definitely be like this place, mostly for me to look at and look cool.

Took my car to them to get a few bolts off my 2 front tires. Dude said he charged $80 per hr and he seemed pretty cool and knew what he was talking about. I ended up paying 325 for 3 hrs, which it doesn't even take an hour to cut through 3 bolts and my car is even more screwed now because he left 2 bolt pieces that now my studs have to be cut just so I can get my wheels off. I called to have them fix it immediately and was told I would have to call back next week because he didn't have the part to fix it. So I'm out 325 and am fixing to have to shell out another 200 to get the job done right. It's just a shame that through this COVID-19 we are going through, people really don't have this kind of money to spend but it seems there are businesses out here taking advantage of the situation. I'm extremely heartbroken that someone would take advantage of such a simple job. Just be cautious and know your stuff before choosing a mechanic.

Your money and time will be better spent literally anywhere else. The machinist told me the part I needed would be $250-$300 to make. I ended up paying almost $1k and the part wasn’t even useable. They kept pushing back the deadline giving me the “oh it’ll be done tomorrow” multiple times. After waiting 2 weeks I dropped in without calling, and found that they were nowhere near being finished. When I saw the time sheet I immediately told them to stop work since it was more than triple the only price they ever gave me. When I asked the shop owner about the price she got snippy and said “well prototypes are usually more expensive”. No, my project isn’t “usually more expensive” because she thought I had money to spend, but based on the other reviews this seems to be a pattern with these people. I talked to another machinist and he said my project shouldn’t take more than 4-6 hours. I don’t have any proof that they padded hours, but if it seriously took 13 hours to do what they did, then the machinist is unbelievably incompetent.

BEWARE they are nice at first but when they assume you have money to spend they will charge you a higher price upon picking up your items. Then get nasty when you question them about it. I will be reporting them to the bbb they couldn’t prove the start time to finish time yet I have such a high bill for simple work

I had to get some universal floorboards put on my bike. Chrome is a royal pain in the butt to drill through but this machine shop did it in less than 20 minutes. Dave the metal engineer managed to get it done with precision and taught be some basics about drilling through chrome. I was very pleased and for the price I couldn't imagine better.

I want to thank the Big Auger for helping us with our small auto body metal work on our pickup truck. We had a small job that noone in town wanted to bother with, but we needed it done so we could tow our car. It has been sitting out of town for months because we couldn't find anyone to do this weld/torch job on our truck so we could tow. (UHAUL couldn't do the custom work) Finally we found the Big Auger through calling around. They gave us an amazing price, fit us in last minute, and did the job in about 15 mins! They were also soooo nice. I never give reviews, but I felt compelled because the Big Auger Machine & Tool saved us!!!! Thank you so so much!!!
