As ALWAYS, Dr. Schroyer and his team at Animal Care Clinic knocked it out of the park at our recent visit. Our 2 dogs were due for annual check ups and I took along our foster dog just to see what she weighed (she's a big girl and I needed the Clinic scale to get an accurate weight for her). Doc spent as much time with her as he did with the 2 dogs who had appointments. This Clinic truly is the GOLD STD. I cannot recommend ACC any more highly!

After nearly 10 years of taking my dog here, I sadly have made the decision to go elsewhere. Dr. Matt, the techs, and the reception staff are all wonderful to work with. But unfortunately they are not enough to make up for Dr. Shroyer. After several odd interactions with him, I generally try to only see Dr. Matt. Unfortunately if there is an acute need, I have to just see whoever is available. My husband brought our dog in to see Dr. Shroyer for an ear infection over the weekend. While the tech did take some swabs, Dr. Shroyer did not actually test the swabs to determine if she had an active infection. He just decided it was allergies and prescribed an allergy medication but nothing to help with the pain in her ears or to clear up the infection. By Monday, I could tell the pain in her ears was getting worse so I took her elsewhere for a second opinion and they did test the swabs and determined that she does in fact have an ear infection and gave me some ear drops to help. I tried to get him to give me a call today to discuss but I am realizing that there is not really anything he can do to fix this situation as I simply do not trust him as a provider. And I cannot continue to bring my dog to a clinic where I do not trust all of the providers. I genuinely appreciate all of the staff who have been so friendly and kind to me over the years and I am so sad to to go but I do not see any other option.

Great place! Extremely friendly staff! BUT expect to be there for a few hours if not more.
I loved the staff, all of the pet nurses and assistants were so sweet, the vet was a little rough on my tiny kitten though.
I wasn't very happy with how he was throwing her around so roughly, but she was being VERY hard to work with so you do what you gotta do sometimes to get your babies better!
The space was clean, my only big complaint was the wait time. It seems like they are swamped constantly so expect to be there for a long time. They also wanted to give my kitten an x-ray to see if there was fluid in her lungs from a cold and number 1, I don't get an x-ray for a cold and number 2 they suggested that before they even listened to her lungs and it can mostly be determined from a simple listen to her lungs. So be wary and don't pay the extra $300 (geez).

I am SO thankful to have found Animal Care Clinic.
Backstory: My 6yo German Shepherd, Nina, has been to many vets from FL-KY in hopes to find a diagnostic and cure. After being misdiagnosed with allergies, I knew there had to be more.
I came to this clinic as a new patient desperate for a cure as I began to lose hope. Thankfully, Dr. Schroyer and his team found the root issue and we are on the road to recovery. Everyone at this team is so compassionate and are truly called for this career. I am so thankful for each and every one of them. A talented, professional group. Thank you for restoring my faith! Your animal is in THE BEST OF CARE HERE.

Dr. Schroyer is truly a miracle worker. I called the office in a panic, never having taken my bunny there before. She was completely flaccid with a slow heart rate and we had no idea what happened. Not only did they say to come right away, when even the emergency vets did not have anyone that did exotics available, but everyone was so kind and reassuring. Dr. Schroyer gave me realistic expectations, and when she made a complete recovery, we were both incredibly and pleasantly surprised. The techs were wonderful and even sent me pictures of updates. Forever grateful to this clinic!

Super happy and thankful with the patience and care the Dr and their team gave to our cat Floki! They were super friendly and helpful during our visit and care and answered all of our questions during a stressful time. We will definitely be coming back for further care and cannot thank the staff enough for their help!
