I would not buy lumber from anyone else, truly. Kenton and the guys at at 84 Lumber got my order completed and delivered within 24 hours, the BIG BOX stores said 2-3 weeks.. Ask for Kenton he will get you together,

This is not a customer service oriented vendor. Misled me about the color of the railing product and were unwilling to work with me in trying to correct it. I would much prefer to work with Lowes, Home Depot or another independent business vendor that understands customer service. This is the 84 Lumber at the Palumbo Road location in Lexington, Kentucky. Delivered a flatbed load here, they were friendly and quick to unload after they got their in house outbound trucks taken care of. Not much room for a real truck but they are more than happy to move the items littering the yard.

I just want to give a big shout out to 84 lumber. We were referred to them from out contractor Benji Moore (#1 in our minds) who referred us to Marcus Lake. Marcus has patiently walked us though their whole process from plan takeoffs, custom Anderson windows, custom doors, everything. The hidden Jewel is their custom wood shop run by Paul, who is incredibly talented and has great idea's. He built tons of stuff for us.Thanks guys .....can't wait for our next project!

Depending who is working on the particular day you can get very different service or pricing. I paid $8.89 for 1x4 one day and were $11.99 a week later which I believe had nothing to do with price change and everything to do with who billed it.
