Litchfield post office are lazy no good people they have four-wheel drive Jeeps but they won't deliver the mail to our homes. They put the wrong mail in the wrong boxes every time to wear important documents our lost forever. They don't want to put the mailbox lids up when they put the mail in then they blame the weather for the mailbox lid being down when in fact it's them that's not shutting the lids. They never answer the phone when you call them even when you're standing outside the post office knowing there's no one in there but them they still will not answer the phone. They are the worst post office ever. The green signature card that you paid for to have the other party sign they never come back to you they trash them. they keep raising the stamps but we never hardly get our mail. we need to close the post office in leitchfield Kentucky for good

Yes I mailed an envelope with card on 03/29/2024 to my disabled Mother in Leitchfield, KY. A secure box requiring a key. I mailed the envelope from a POST OFFICE. Not a mailbox. The envelope contained $100. Considering I mailed directly from the Post Office to a secure box, piracy is not an option. The only persons with access to the envelope are US postal workers. I would like to be contacted with the proper channel of grievance. I have contacted the automated system and cannot make contact with a human being. It’s a Federal crime to tamper with mail. I am prepared to provide any evidence needed. As the Post Office is under surveillance. I am on camera mailing the envelope. So you need to be looking at your staff. I’ll never see the money again. But I am reported the staff involved

I came in to cash a post office money order. The staff was soooo rude and refused to cash it and told me to leave. The staff is so unprofessional and gives this town a bad name. Very rude and nasty

USPS didn't deliver my package because there was "no access to the delivery site." Because of these two people sitting here collecting money for the football game. They can't get a postal truck in there? I could fit a tank in that gap. Very frustrating.

I have lived in this area for 30 years and I have observed this branch of the postal service has changed to be extremely unreliable and lazy. For example, In the last month the mail person will not deliver any packages no matter how small or light. On 3 10 23 I purchased a item that weighed 1 pound. The seller paid USPS to ship the item to my home. The mail person refused to deliver the item because it was to big and demanded me to drive 24 miles to their post office to pick it up myself. This is not an isolated example, the mail person has done this no less than 40 other times. Also, no one at their office will answer the phone. I have called them for over 1 hour and walk in while my phone is ringing only to see 3 workers refusing to answer. This lazy, bad attitude must be held accountable and changed. I have little hope because it is a Government agency that is not held accountable for failing to do their job. I think the management is failing to do his job.

If you’re going to regularly lose and/or misdeliver packages, you should have stellar customer service. Or decent customer service at a minimum.Your customer service should not be so terrible that you start to contemplate whether dealing with these people is worth retrieving your $100 package.

If everything you have regarding your business be a private public or government-owned says you’re open till 4 PM in the afternoon then you should be open until 4 PM in the afternoon if you’re not going to be open until 4 PM in the afternoon change the hours of your operation!

The post master there and her help are rude. They don't treat their employees or their help very well at all. No wonder everyone is quitting.

Called once for over an hour straight back to back calls and they never answered the phone. Finally gave up. Why have a phone if you’re not going to answer it, ever.

My experience the last 2 weeks with Jessica and Tony were outstanding. First Tony was able to get a incorrectly coded package that may have never been delivered due to looping at an out of state postal distribution center tracked down and to the Leitchfield post office and delivered! Second Jessica was able to get my 3 day priority package that was sent on a wild traveling spree and a week plus later than the expected delivery date tracked down and delivered! Better late than never! They went above and beyond in my eyes and couldn't be more grateful for their efforts!!!!!!!! Customer service is something I felt was a thing of the past. Jessica and Tony have turned that around for me. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart!
