We are on autofill. The tank hasn’t been filled since March and is now empty. We can’t use anything that is propane. Called for an emergency fill and no help at all. Customer service is non existent. I do not recommend this company at all.
This is a follow-up to my post of September 7, 2024. As of today we still have not been refilled. I was told on Saturday we were on emergency 24hr refill. I was also told to “read the terms and conditions.” I guess those are only for the customer. When Amerigas messes up it becomes your issue.
Today I received a reply to this review that said I should send my phone number to a provided email address and someone would call. I am still waiting on that call and have followed up on each of 5 emails and asked for a call each time. I have received zero calls. Very very poor service in every way.

I called to ask about getting my 500 gallon propane tank painted. Took less than a week for this task to be performed. Outstanding, response to my request. Couldn’t have asked for better service!

Amerigas has been nothing but a headache. We have been customers for years & the way they have treated us has been ridiculous. Charged 4.37 a gallon, when other companies are charging 2.73. I paid $1,007 to have my tank filled & it was only filled to 40%. The customer service is ridiculous & the worst I have ever dealt with!!

Terrible customer service! In the past the service was good but now it is a different story. I am very disappointed with my last delivery of gas.

Amerigas is good at keeping my propane tank filled. The only thing that I think can improve on is letting your customers know that you have been to their home and filled the tank. I didn’t know anyone had been here until I received the bill. Some form of “I was here today” like leaving a fill ticket or something.

No one that answers the phone knows what’s going on. Talked to several people over 4 to 5 days and no one can resolve an issue. my Bill has been in dispute for over a month. I will be taking my business somewhere else.

Ran out of gas. Called on Saturday morning and spoke to a polite gentleman. My tank was full by 10:00 am on Tuesday. It was filled by a nice guy that lives right down the road. All things considered, including my boneheadedness letting it run out in the first place, this was an excellent customer experience.

Takes way too long to get service. Nobody in country to talk to. Billed for more propane than we got!

This company is ABSOLUTELY horrible to deal with!! They are liars, theives and cheaters!!! They delivered our neighbor propane and charged us for it and kept calling us liars and would do NOTHING to fix it and instead actually threatened to turn us into collections if we didn’t pay it and they harassed and hounded us for MONTHS until finally we gave in and reluctantly paid the bill so they would leave us alone. We canceled the account then and closed it out….or so we thought…. TWO YEARS LATER we get a text saying we just had propane delivered and had a bill!! We call and are told we had to pay for it or if not that they were going to take our tanks that aren’t even theirs to be taking so they would be STEALING THEM!! We have threatened to sue them and they changed their tone a bit but told us to “make sure we call back in a month to make 100% sure the account is completely closed out…” WHAT!? WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS ARE YOU RUNNING?!? They definitely do not care at all nor will they try to make it right!! I’d give negative stars if I could!!!

Sadly after local buyout we have to make numerous phone calls AFTER we schedule online to get fuel delivered. Calls to customer service gets you what I presume to be India. We even had meter put on tank going to company hoping it would help with delivery, it did not. Attempts to reach local office reroutes back to India.

Ordered gas online, was given a timeframe for delivery. Gas was delivered. No Hassel, no fuss. Simple and easy. Thank you.

Yes had no problems just wish gas was cheaper or you had discount for senior citizens. Very hard to manage everything on fixed Income
